The food is very tasty and very affordable. The shop has shortage of workers and some items on the menu are not available.

Although the food court is very crowded, it is clean. The cleaning team is trying very hard to clear the trays from the tables. 👍👍

Lovely chefs and servers that bring your food with a smile. Great to grab a quick bento box and go back to work. Would recommend eating there as their fried foods get a little mushy when in the takeaway container. But still tasted great!

Located under the Woolworth Town Hall, you may surprise with the food serve at Momiji.

Taste like home cook and becoming my regular comfort food.

Love this place!

Try the Katsudon!

so glad i found this hidden gem in the city. it’s actually in a food court at the basement of an office building. menu selection offers way too much variety and i meant it in an absolute positive way so trust me when i say i had a hard time making a decision. went with the spicy sesame ramen eventually and the broth is so flavorful i pretty much slurped the entire bowl. the chasu were also incredibly tender. can’t recommend this place enough.

My favourite japanese takeaway. They have daily specials like ramen and omu rice. I always have three choices with rice but today I want to eat omusoba. It was a huge portion for the cheap price as well.

Love their Wagyu Teriyaki Don. The meat is high quality! and the flavour is really good. Their miso soup is nice with a deep miso flavour, which I like.

Momiji has been established since 1989. Located in the hidden Pittsway Arcade next to Woolworths in Town Hall. It offers very good Japanese dishes at very reasonable budget. The staff are very friendly.

I just tried a random meal item on the menu called Hiyashi Chuka but it was reaaally good. Not an exaggeration to say that it was one of best Japanese dish I have eaten in Sydney, and for a really good value ($11) too. It's such a hidden gem in a worn down looking food court. The owner also seems really nice. It's a shame they don't open for dinner.

Would definitely, definitely recommend!

OG japanese take away, used to come here all the time during my uni days. The food is authentic and very affordable, esp for CBD! I had the oyako don with miso soup, all for $10 and was delicious~

Ohhh wow, found this place via Google and I wasn’t disappointed. Got the garlic ramen and couldn’t be happier, for $13 this was not just great value but tasted like I was back in Japan.

Great value, excellent service. At $13, the una don is not only wallet-friendly (considering other restaurants in the city change much higher prices) but also hearty.

Good food cheap prices. Been there for ages. Great for a quick feed especially when you are craving Japanese food.

Get the katsu curry rice and some addons to make a meal. Hard to find places in city to beat this place for a cheap feed.

Food court is hard to find but it's down a little hallway with stairs leading down. There's a Japanese convenience store at the top of the stairwell.

My favourite lunch place in the city!

Huge portions, great tasting food, friendly staff. Have been coming here for years.

Prepared menu changes slightly from day to day, but they also have a made to order menu which takes a little bit extra but is worth the wait.

I recommend:
Beef and Potato (Tues/Thur)
Rissole in mushroom sauce (Fri)
Vegetable tempura (every day)

One of the Cheapest Japanese Food in Sydney. And if you come around 10 in the morning, they got lunch bento boxes ready for those who have lunches at their desk.
I frequent here since the 90s, the same owner is still there, along with Sayong Malaysian.
