This Cantonese seafood restaurant is incredibly authentic and delicious!
All the seafood and meat we had were very fresh. The roasted squab was freshly prepared, perfectly crispy skin and tender meat – a must-try! The stir-fried clams were fresh with crispy rice-noodle base, very tasty! The unique preparation of abalone with salted egg yolk was outstanding, fresh and tender abalone paired with salted egg yolk made it a heavenly dish. The pumpkin shoot soup was made with genuine pumpkin, and after adding oil, it turned into a delicious pumpkin soup, complementing the pumpkin shoots perfectly! The restaurant also provides free complimentary soup, a genuine egg flower soup without MSG, and they even refill it – we ended up having three big bowls!
Although the prices are relatively high, the satisfaction of a full and delicious meal is totally worth it. The two of us finished five dishes – worth every dollar!

Amazing service and delicious food! The old waiter was very kind and attentive! The dim sum was questionable but since they’re aren’t a yumcha place it’s understandable. The chicken tastes amazing! I would totally return again, definitely recommend for dinner!

Great Chinese restaurant Peking duck is a must

Each time we are in Sydney, we have to come to this place and get a feed.

No fancy renovations, actually nothing is fancy at this place. It’s basically a room with tables and chairs, and a cheap looking sign that has its name on it.

So why is it always full? The food, omg, it’s so good.

Even the service does not resemble a typical Chinese restaurant or especially a Cantonese restaurant where the staff is untrained and rude. This place even has customer service! The staff is super attentive and super friendly!

If you look for some great traditional Cantonese food look no further. This is one of the best in Sydney. Their specialty is seafood, free range chicken and some other dishes such as rice cooked in clay pot. The food is authentic and better than most of other places. Each dish is substantially big. The service is great especially from the manager who is mostly there to in charge. I took my family dine in the place regularly. She's down to earth and super friendly. We always feel warm welcome. Must try dishes: clay pot rice with fish, pull free range chicken, grilled pork, seafood especially their steam wild oysters. I have not tried their lobsters with noodles yet but I have seen it many times and it looks amazing. Definitely on my must-try list next time.

I was astonished to see the unsatisfactory reviews regarding the service, the waiters were extremely friendly. They were older Cantonese uncles, might not speak much English but they were absolutely lovely. I came here just tonight with some of my Cantonese friends, we can all confirm that the food was authentic and delicious, there wasn’t a single bad dish! If you are looking for western style Chinese food I am sorry this is not for you. But if you are looking for real Cantonese dining experience, this place is highly recommended.

Good value for money, authentic traditional Chinese Seafood.

Never fail to deliver on the quality of the seafood dishes. We enjoy eating here as the cooking is authentic chinese style. As expected with fresh seafood restaurants you cannot rush the cooking and our experiences has always been very reasonable time from order to delivery of food and it is always 10/10 on point with expectation. The owner is very helpful in suggesting style of cooking and also accompanying dishes if one is unsure what to order. The take away orders looks like flying out the door which does suggest that they have good following of customers.

Very much enjoyed my meal here. Generous servings of delicious food made with top quality ingredients. The vegetables are notable for their freshness, the pippies are plump and the braised pork is an excellent texture.
I would highly recommend. I look forward to returning to try more of their menu.

Superb variety, excellent cooking, tasty dishes, seafood dishes specialty and other dishes are as excellent. Saw other eye popping and mouth watering dishes ordered by the other customers and am very keen to try these other dishes in my next visit. Friendly owner and great customer service. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

This is our favourite chinese restaurant, all the food they served the beat chinese meal from XO pipis, hot sour soup, salted egg prawns and they made they own tofu ( bean curd).

This Grand Fortune Seafood is Australia's Best Chinese food. Fantastic people who really look after their customers, I'm definitely going back again!!!!
