I came here long tone ago since I was studying and come back again. I’m very impressed with all the side dishes. All the food is very yummy, quality foods and generous portions. Staff so friendly. Still one of my favourite restaurant. Recommend 👍🏻

Really really enjoyed our meal here. Food was pure satisfyingly good especially when taking the first slurp of the cold noodles and spicy broth on a hot day. The price is somewhat more expensive however you’re paying for quality. Top notch customer service - the waiter helped us cut up our meat so we didn’t waste time and can eat LOL!! We went on a weekday for lunch so it wasn’t busy at all and no queue. The only questionable thing was we ordered the assorted marinated beef (which was wagyu and absolute perfection) but it had no marinate on it? Free re-fill of side dishes. Will be back to try more of their foods.

I had a very great night here! The food was good. Especially the raw beef one!
The bbq and pancake were also nice. There has lots of choices of side dishes as well!
The staffs were friendly and the service was pretty good!!

One of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in Sydney! I can see and taste that the quality of the food and ingredients are excellent. Great service too. Generous side dishes like old times (please don't ever change) and everything is yummy. And there's basically no smoke! Highly recommended.

Food was absolutely delicious, also arrived quickly and was fresh. Service was great, helpful and friendly. Ordered the beef bulgogi, Tteokbokki, and sweet potato noodles. The side dishes were also really good, and the meals were amazing. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Came at lunch time there was no wait to be seated ☺

We ordered for stired fry pork which was so so i liked but i like the fried chicken with rice cake . And i loved that they gave us so many side dishes .

The cheese pork cutlets were amazing and so were the other food, the side dish is quite refreshing too. I had their stir fried chicken last time and it was good too.

Ordered bbq beef and soy chicken, it was beautiful. Also the rice cakes are the best thing I’ve ever tasted. 3 people and we ate all of this and are all full yippee!! The servers were super nice and fulfilled every request we had. (*´∇｀*)

The side dishes are very nice and food was great price is also reasonable staff are good too. I’ll definitely come back.

I dinned alone, the staff were really friendly making sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my experience.
The wagyu beef was not your ordinary pieces of meat. I could definitely tell they used quality meat, as the cooked meat was so soft and delicious medium rare or well done.
I really enjoyed my experience and coming from Melbourne, if I lived in Sydney I would definitely come back!

This place is a must go if you are in the Australia area! The korean food was authentic and reminded of me when my friends mum cooked me korean food one time. I would recommend the spicy fish roe soup as it has a unique flavour with mild spice. The starters were all very tasty especially the kim chi. I will DEFINITELY be coming here again an I can safely say it is in my top 3 restaurants on george st. The ice cream was also wonderful and i would get the melon one again.

We came here and we ordered the cold noodles, kimchi pancake, marinated pork ribs and the marinated beef spare ribs. The food all came really quick, the staff were kind to help us cook our meat and the food was all so good.

"Dae Jang Kun" in Chinatown offers an exceptional Korean BBQ experience. The meat is fresh and delicious, making every bite a delight. Their side dishes and sauces complement the BBQ perfectly, adding a variety of flavors to the meal. A must-visit for Korean BBQ enthusiasts!

Great experience! We only had main dishes this time but they tasted great! Our favorite was the chicken stirfry. But I can also recommend the Bibimbab. The staff was friendly and the service swift :)

I love the food at this restaurant, whether to take away or dine in the food is always ready fresh and suitable to my taste! 🫶🏻 the atmosphere also very comfortable like at home. My all-the-time obsession is their lunch take away, you never get bored for it💕💕

Place was very clean, ambience of all the people was so refreshing and lovely. Food was top notch and came out very quickly. The waitress helped educate us how to cook and eat the meals- whilst also helping us cook the meat to perfection. Great service, people, ambience and food would go again

Second time I've been back since 2019 and so much amazing improvements. Highly strongly reccomend for a worthy KBBQ and dining experience. We ordered set A with wasabi octopus and a spicy cold noodles.
-Set A Wagyu: 100/10 This is a more affordable suitable for 2. Meat quality is out there, super awesome especially the rib fingers, they are to die for.
-Wasabi octopus: 4/10 it was okay, flavourful.
-Spicy cold noodle: 100/10 please eat together with the grilled meat. It's a must try for everyone.
The staff was so nice and enthusiastic, we asked for extra kimchi only and was happily served a big portion of it. I'm in love so I'm definitely going to come back with my families and friends.

This place is amazing. The ribs the beef the cold noodles the fried chicken……… OMG. Will definitely come back. Do come early to get a table if you have more then 4 pax. Totally forgotten to take the pic.
