Maruku Arts Gallery

We did an art class with Bessi near the town centre and it was incredible! We also bought art from Maruku at the Cultural Centre and they were well priced, with potentially 100’s of artworks to chose from.
The young lady in the art gallery was extremely helpful and personable!
Highly recommend both experiences!

When we came in the first time we were overwhelmed with all the different art pieces there was, it wasn’t easy to choose one. The next day we came back to buy a painting and we were lucky that the artist Deborah Walkabout was so nice to explain us about the painting we liked. We now have an original aboriginal art work with a story!

Great service, amazing painting and the painting are not over pricey like in Yulara and all the money is going back to the community.

Most of the art is overpriced, we brought one piece that was ok priced. Some very interesting pieces. Modern Indigenous art found here. Worth coming and having a look.

Dumpy looking and way over priced.... takes advantage of the visiting tourist big time. For all the money the Government spent on this place, it could have looked a whole lot better.

This is the second time I’ve bought art from this Gallery-the first time was in person and the second time was online. The art they display and sell is absolutely beautiful. However, the customer service is horrendous. It’s a shame that such talented artists are being represented by this company. I unfortunately will no longer be recommending or purchasing from this gallery again.
