Was an amazing, beautiful breathtaking place that I loved every minute of. I took a Segway around but could have easily walked, a long way but not a hard walk at all. Lots of information posts to read.

We went to watch the sunrise when the sun was already partially up. However due to the cloud it was still not shining. The views were majestic. I reckon it would be even better without a cloudy sky. Try to reach there at least 20-25 minutes before sunrise so that you can grab the best location for the photos. Note that the sides of the viewing area are taken up very quickly.

Easy to get to by car as it is well sign posted. There is plenty of room for an unspoiled sunrise view of the rock both from the elevated platform and just walking along the fenced area. You will need your park pass to get into the park precinct. If you're staying in Yulara, allow 25 mins to drive and park.

We actually visited this viewing area at sunset. The main reason is that we wanted to escape the crowds at the official sunset area. Pleased we made that decision as we had the sunrise viewing area all to ourselves & there was a pleasant walk to do after the sun went down.

Magical. We had the pleasure of sunrise and sunset from this wonderful spot on the same day!

Whilst sunrise is amazing, this is actually a very special place to view sunset, as you are looking towards the setting sun on the horizon, with views also to Kata Tjuka.

Take a coffee in the morning. And drinks (with ice and canapés) for sunset.

Amazing way to experience Uluru.

Start early for sunrise views. It was raining when we got there. A bit unusual to rain here! So it was good to see waterfall and streams and pool on the rock. Amazing views.

Stunning! Sunrise and sunset each have their own special sounds and colours. ♥
It's very busy, especially depending on the time of year you go, but if you can find your quiet spot, it's still peaceful and wonderful. One of very few thing worth getting up at 4.30am for 🤪

Great place to watch Uluru wake up. Many different spots to get good photos of Uluru and Kata Juta!

Recommend seeing the sunrise and the sunset. The colours are so different. We had a great tour but knowing more would look at the small tour groups. 65 on the bus meant everyone is crowded round with other groups at the same time. The smaller group tours park closer to the rock. No matter what, what a rock! Still on a high from seeing it

There are different platforms, you don't have to stay and watch there everyone is.
We arrived at the park entry 10 Minutes before opening, three cars in front of us.
We had an amazing sunrise and beautiful view on the Uluru.

It was beautiful at Sunrise and Sunset. The history of Uluru was fascinating. Men's business and women's business tells the story.

Great spot to watch the sunrise.
Wildfires had been burning for a few weeks in the northern territory which caused the haze in the pictures.

Sunrise is just gorgeous. The sounds and colours are just beautiful at this time of the morning. Walking tracks makes it easy to get to the lookouts. Toilets are also available.

It was a wonderful experience even tho it was in freezing temps. Ulluru never disappoints. The tour operator, on the other hand, disappointed me as there were inadequate supplies to make a cuppa coffee to warm oneself inspite, of advising them of dietary restrictions.

Amazing view. I came here mid afternoon and had the whole place to myself, not a person in sight. My favourite viewpoint of Uluṟu. Worth checking out not only for sunrise.

Amazing sight to see- make sure you get there 30-60mins before sunrise to see all there is to see and allow time to get there. There is a fee to get into the park- can be done online prior.
