Located on Hickson Road this theatre can be accessed by car with metered street parking and a parking station nearby and by busses. When the metro train line is finished this will provide more options. The theatre has good sight lines and is comfortable. The foyer has box office, bathrooms, a small shop, bar and function room. There is also a lift. In the upper level there is another bar and a balcony. A great space.

Recently saw The President featuring Hugo Weaving at the Roslyn Packer Theatre at Walsh Bay. Very modern and well designed theatre space. Great view from every seat, excellent sound and lighting and large and flexible stage. Bars on two levels, large foyer and great reuse of an historic building. Handy to transport, the Rocks and Barangaroo precincts.

The Roslyn packer theatre has got to be the benchmark in theatre seating layout design .
The chairs are comfortable aligned just so the person in front of you doesn't block your view, the seating & leg room+foot room is very generous and ensures for a comfortable stay / performance. Unfortunately only negative point is no drink/cup/wine holders for drinks from the bar.
I thought the sound and lighting was excellent for the performance I saw.
No real issues with wayfinding once inside,
Pretty good overall.

Transport here isn't the best, taking a car would be most convenient, nearest train stations are circular quay and) further still is the Wynyard (barangaroo exit) and walk or bicycle ride for 20+mins.

Beautiful acoustics & environment. Friendly staff, and enough of them to make sure we had reasonable queues at the bar! The bus to QVB is a 3 min walk away…nice night out.

First time we saw a play at the Roslyn packer theater. The performance of The Room was spectacular which was part of the Sydney festival. Parking was relatively straightforward although I didn’t see a place to charge my electric vehicle. And actually I did see a place but it was locked behind a chain-link fence. There are some restaurants at the local wharfs. I look forward to seeing future performances here.

First time at the Roslyn Packer Theatre. We had the privileged of seeing the final show called Dust run by the Milk Crate group. The Richard Wherret Studio was nice and intimate, watching the performances and sitting so close you felt part of the show. Definitely would like to see more shows at this venue.

Great location and a lot of parking options!

Love this theatre! Feels quite intimate. Have seen some great plays here, most recently Sydney Theatre Company’s fabulous The Picture of Dorian Gray. Ideal location for a Harbourside stroll afterwards too

Surprisingly small theatre makes any show an intimate experience. The staff are welcoming and hospitable. Bar staff are fun and know their wine menu well. For wine lovers, I recommend the Here & Now Sav B and the Robert Oatley Chardonnay. I'd 100% come back to any show playing here.

Very good acoustic, great seating arrangements as it's a very steep plan. If you have walking issues or can't climb stairs, maybe buy seating on the ground level rather than balcony. Clean premises and very helpful staff to guide you around or hand you tickets at the box office. Staff also helped elderly people with the stairs, which was lovely to see.
A bit hard to navigate your way to it as it's a lot of road work around the area, so allow more time if you're driving and also need to park.

ORACLE was amazing, mesmerising, breathtaking...I have run out of superlatives. So glad I made the effort to travel to Sydney just to see Oracle. The Roslyn Packer Theatre is 5* as well. Every seat has an excellent view of the stage. It is definitely possible I will be returning sooner than later to this venue.

There's parking at the nearby Wilson garages (get the app which gives good discounts and easy tap in and tap out) , but there are also 4 hour meters right outside. The local restaurants have theatre special menus (we went to Jounieh - recommended). Artsy patrons of course, so wear your most outlandish gear. Intermission is a bit of a disaster and slow to return - maybe drink heavily before the show so you only have one queue - for the toilet. Easy exit at the end and off you go in your close-by car. Public transport haven, this isn't. Oh, and there will be a play which probably will be fabulous dahling.

I love this theatre, never had a bad seat and the service at the bars is good. Local restaurants can get booked out well in advance of a popular show so if you want to go to dinner pre show book early, a few very good local options, or pop to the lord Nelson pub for a beer its only 5 mins walk away. Also lots of parking options, both on street (it is metered parking) or in the parking station. If you get the train it's a bit of a walk albeit a very nice walk from circular quay.

Great little theatre and good organisation from staff. Had to pick up my tickets and the lady who helped me was polite, efficient and professional.
Nice size for a theatre. Saw The Tempest which was incredible.
Parking nearby and not too expensive for night time parking. Loads of places to in walking distance.

I saw St Joan here and I loved everything about the play and especially the theatre. In one of the scenes, it rained onstage. Was so freaking awesome! Easy to hear the performers and I was at the back

I saw Muriel's Wedding here last night and it was absolutely fantastic! Totally recommend. Beautiful theatre. Not too large.
