Country hospitality at its best! We had the traditional Parma, huge, tender, sauce on point, fresh as Salad with delicious Chips. Well worth a country drive, as a pub with Real Country friendly service, thank you for a lovely Saturday afternoon!

I discovered Brushgrove Hotel as I was officiating a Celebration of Life Ceremony. I was very impressed with the owners Tanya and Glenn in the way they accommodated the family’s requests. Very friendly, professional and customer service was faultless.
A week after, I booked lunch and we loved the food. Fresh and generous portions. The location is just pretty. Serene. They had a little area for kids to play and it’s dog friendly too. I recommend this establishment and make sure to book ahead of time because it’s quite popular. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful old pub on the bank of the river. Meals were amazing and good portion sizes (small and large) worked well for different people in the group. Desserts were some of the best we've ever had! Highly recommended!

Outstanding meal! The small chicken schnitzel was the right size and cooked perfectly. The chips were delicious and the salad had a wonderful dressing. $15 + $3 for very tasty Diane sauce is super value. I definitely recommend a meal at the hidden gem. 10/10

A lovely old hotel at the western tip of Woodford Island in the Clarence River. There is a front bar and a beer garden and the toilets are nice and clean.
Easy access by bridge from Cowper. At the other end of the island there is a bridge to Maclean and there is also a ferry link to Lawrence from the north side of the island.

Meals outstanding. Staff friendly with old school hospitality. Always a good vibe. Grab a beer and sit out the back overlooking the Clarence river - it’s a treat!

Tucked away at the end of the Road the Brushgrove hotel serves value for money meals. I had local steak cooked to perfection and local Yamba Oysters. A nice outdoor area for eating and a view of the mighty Clarence. This is a secret worth sharing.

Great meals. We had a Brushy Schnitzel and a Parmy. The tenderest chicken and the biggest salad with just the right amount of chips. Couldn't eat it all.

Had the seafood platter and shared it with the other half. I must say it was excellent, 10/10. I've had plenty on my life but this one was spot on, perfect size for 2 people to share making it fantastic value and cooked to perfection and the salad was dressed well. We left nothing on the plate.

Food is a surprise. Flathead the best I’ve had. What a gem, thanks for the friendly service.

The food at the restaurant is fantastic, with generous portions and top quality ingredients. Our first meal there, most certainly not the last.
Daily specials offer good choice, and the blackboard options really compliment the regular menu.
I had Atlantic Salmon with roasted chats, cherry tomatoes, steamed greens and Salsa Verde. It was beautifully cooked and delicious. The other dish was one of the speciala, battered barramundi with chips and salad, which was really enjoyed.
Please check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Delightful country pub set overlooking the wide still waters of the magnificent Clarence River. Stick around for a fabulous sunset after a generous serve from the excellent kitchen

Having a day on the river moored the boat at the little jetty and had lunch here with our dog. The meal was excellent with shady areas outside.

Glenn will look after you here where the food is great and the beers are cold 🍻

Friendly service and good, well priced lunch

Catered for our Xmas Work Function. Staff extremely helpful/friendly and prompt service, meals excellent and fairly priced, table arrangements spot on, provided entertainment at short notice. 10/10. Still the best bush pub on The Clarence...courtesy bus also available.
