Tucabia village store

We stopped here to get an emergency fuel load. We drove passed initially, then realised we were lower on fuel than we thought.
I’m so glad we did. The low fuel price ended up being a bonus, surprisingly.
Tho owner was incredibly lovely, chatty and super informative about her little town. The BEST thing though, are the pies!! And the owner (I shamefully didn’t get her name) makes them from scratch.

If we were driving back to or through Kempsey, we would definitely make the detour for another special pie delight! We’d probably buy 2 :)

Great customer service. Good chicken burgers. The store is a post office , serves Alcohol, basic supplies, petrol, indian meals takeaway food and cold drinks. Georgie is my favourite 💕

The greatest barbecue chickens on earth. The homemade pre-prepared frozen and fresh meals are a terrific addition. It was bustling with workers during construction of the new Pacific Highway Upgrade - let's continue to support our local little stores now the workers are gone and COVID is wreaking havoc.
