Ulmarra Hotel Cafe/Restaurant

Found this perfect spot as a place to eat and stay on a recent trip. It's a short drive off the highway and well worth it for this beautiful location next to the Clarence River. For dinner we shared a pizza and kids had pasta, with drinks from the bar. The hotel rooms were very good value, simple rooms (including free WiFi, TV, fridge, milk, cereals, yoghurts and apples) with shared bathroom facilities.

Delicious food in a beautiful garden setting right on the river. We stopped here for a break during a long drive, and it made the perfect stop. Only 15mins off the highway for some really good food. Lots of options on the menu, all fresh & made in house. The schnitty was one of the best we’ve ever had & the special tiger prawn spring rolls with fresh herbs were so YUM!

Great hotel/pub food. Really gorgeous outside area right by the river. There are plenty of food options, lots of parking and lovely staff.

What a beautiful place to be. This hidden magical gem really deserves a visit. A great place to stop just off the pacific highway. The river views breathtaking. Toilets cleans with baby change facilities and one is accessible. Plenty of space for kids to play and when we came they gave us free activity packs for the kids. Staff are so nice. Food is great too. The highlight is the dessert cabinet.
It's recommended to book a table in advance as it's often busy, and if the weather is fine be sure to request an outside table to make the most of the beautiful views.

Amazing food, great and fast service. Family friendly. We came here for lunch with our baby, had Sausages with mash and rump steak. Both dishes cooked to perfection.

Absolutely beautiful spot on the river with delicious fresh meals. A lovely hotel with old world charm, like most of Ulmarra. Lovely happy restaurant staff. It would be perfect if the restaurant staff also served the drinks , as the bar staff are never friendly, it's a shame that such a fantastic experience of amazing food, beautiful surrounds, lovely hotel is dampened by the bar section. Can be a bit pricy but food was delicious. We ate outside which is near the lake, beautiful view's.

Various seating for all tastes and occasions. Like a formal birthday party on a large table(s) or by the river bank under your personal umbrella. Great food that is served quick and with plenty on your plate. Not noisy.

Food was delish! Amazing service and beautiful food presentation. They do get busy so come in early for lunch. It is worth the wait.

Seriously... just head here. Its a bit off the beaten track. But the twice cooked duck literally falls off the bone. Yet it remains juicy and crispy.

Beer battered fish and chips. Even simple classics are elevated to the level of a proper restaurant.

Its a must try for australian food out in Grafton. One of the best restaurants here.

Great place great scenery with river at the back and wonderful service and beautiful meals. Well worth going to and will be planning a trip there again soon. A awesome park for children to play just a minutes walk up the street also. Simply a must go place i love it and have been a few times.
