Great Eastern Hotel

I discovered that Thursday nights are steak nights, which were at an unbeatable $25! The steaks were a good sized 300g, cooked to order, and very tasty indeed! The chips and salad were nice, although the salad could have done with dressing. I'll be back!

Table service was amazing! No lining up to order and pay.
Cold beer and great food options.
We enjoyed our repast 😄

A great Hotel, in a nice village in the Adelaide hills, located on the main street, good parking, very friendly staff and a good selection of food and beer / wine.
Remember to look at the great mural in the front bar.

Excellent meal and great atmosphere!! One of the serve ladies was quite bubbly, chatty and great, the other 2 young ones not so much. Guess they can learn though.
All in all, it was a great night.
We didn't reserve, though the bubbly attendant was quite happy to seat us by the fire! 10 points for your effort!

Has the pasta of the day. It was very nice. My girlfriend got the lamb yiros pizza and she enjoyed it.will be back.

My local favourite for lunch or dinner in Mt Baker region. Messy Mondays, ribs any time always is enjoyable and yummy.

Great pub... had lunch here with friends, would recommend it it anyone. Friendly staff, great food (would recommend the ribs) and not bad prices.

I had garlic prawns and they were the freshest prawns I have had. Very large and cooked to perfection.Husband had Fisherman's Basket, it was a large plate with very large prawns on it and very fresh. We were waited on by Alicia, who made us feel very welcome. You are doing a great job, Bruno.

Awesome schnitzel. Biggest beef schnitzel I have had in years with stacks of gravey and veg. The cellar room is excellent and perfect to run meetings of dozen or so.

My family and I dined here on the weekend and can't wait to return. Everything about this hotel is great and it was lovely to have the owner make time to chat with us even with how busy the place was. We will be back.

Went for messy Monday. $20 ribs and wing's. all good.

Excellent experience in every way. Nice rustic environment with fabulous meals, and the wait staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Will definitely go back!
