I went with a group of 4 other people and we all had such a lovely experience dining here. I really want to make it a point to mention how kind and accomodating the staff were. Truly some of the sweetest ladies!

Everyone loved their meal and if I lived in Sydney long term, I’d definitely go back. Also, I’d recommend the beef Korma. The meat was really tender and the curry had a nice consistency & flavour!!

Great Indian buffet, fresh food everyday. Nice staff Benita served, very kind and helpful. Good price 2 curries/rice for $13.90 can’t beat that.

This hidden gem in Surry Hills offers the best indian food around this area, maybe all of Sydney too. We had the home style lamb and chicken, both of which were delicious. A special shout out to the staff, especially, Binita, who always gives service with a smile. I highly recommend this joint to everyone.

Authentic and tasty Indian food with amazing service. I was surprised that the dishes actually were spicy and had seasoning. The vegetable samosa is a must - so yummy! I also had prawn masala and different vegetarian curries from the counter. The only minus was that the papadams tasted bland because they didn’t have cumins.

After looking at the reviews I was hesitant whether the food would actually be as good as people claimed, especially because australians don’t know what real Indian food is. I love my Indian food tasty and spicy and would definitely recommend this place!

A scrumptious meal served by the restaurant and incredible service offered by its employees. We, a family of four, couldn’t find anything better than ‘Samir’s Kitchen’ to end our tiring day of Sydney tour. We were welcomed by one of their amazing employees Smriti followed by a superbly delicious meal by the chef. It was a perfect meal complimented with remarkably positive ambience of the restaurant.
Highly recommend the restaurant for a wonderful dine-in experience.

I really love Indian food and this venue didn’t disappoint me. Excellent service, the waitress was very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing.

Don't let the water baths fool you, this is a great place to have a sit down dinner. Service is excellent and it's not so loud you can't have a conversation. Our curries were made to be less spicy for some folks on our table, what's not to like! Great vegetarian and meat options.

I don't normally leave food reviews but I had to stop and make this exception. The overall experience here is great, portion sizes are generous and made with quality ingredients. It's consistent too, from their curries, Naan breads, and samosa - its all good.

While I leave this recommendation for you all, it's also a reminder for me to come back next time I visit Sydney.

A simple restaurant with exceptional food. Easily one of our favourite Indian restaurants in Sydney. We love everything we have tried, from the kid friendly Butter Chicken to the delicious eggplant curry and onion bhaji. We have been many times and keep returning, always the best sign.

Amazing food and the server was so sweet to us! She's very passionate and even let us sample the curry before I decided which one to get.
They have a quick bain Marie style option or an a la carte menu.

Went here to try the food based on the reviews and it actually turned out to be really good. Goat curry was amazing. The wait staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were looked after by Smriti who was amazing at her what she was doing.

Reasonably priced delicious curries - the eggplant/potato curry is my favourite! The medium with 2 x curries and rice is a really generous serving.

Great restaurant. One of the best in Surry Hills. And the staff are amazing.
One evening I dined in and had two curries and rice. I ate the curries but left some rice. I was sitting and reading on my phone when the gentleman behind the counter said ‘oh, you have rice left over. Let me give you another curry, complementary’. And he did. Extremely generous.
Not that you should expect free food, but it is an example of how hospitable they are.
Well worth a visit.
And not expensive.

During my trip to Sydney with my family of 12 from Melbourne, we dined in this restaurant that offered excellent food and service. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the standout dish was the Tandoori chicken. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely little gem in Surry Hills. Delish food.

My weakness is the veggie wrap. It's all my faves veggie dishes jammed in a roti with a delicious spicy and sweet sauce.

Definite hit as a lunch spot. Tables inside and a couple outside. Not a fancy spot, just good food.

The food was great and the service was very good the lady was super helpful. We had a big group of 11 and she did great. Took pictures and had the food served well and delivered on everything.

The atmosphere isn’t that good it feels very much like a takeaway place so don’t expect much but if you want good food and good service this is the place to be.

Staff was super friendly all throughout, checking in on us and making sure we were happy. food was really tasty. Service was truly exemplery and fully initiated on their end, and we appreciated it so much!
Food was incredible - we got the goat curry, the aloo matar paneer and the chicken tandoori. The goat curry was a particular standout for me, super tender and flavourful, fell of the bone! Also great cheese and garlic naan!
Highly recommend, will definitely be back again!

Binita was amazing. Her warm attitude makes me feel welcomed! Love the food here as well. Already recommend my friends who live in Surry !
