Top notch food and service.
Worth every penny for the premium buffet. Make sure you order the pork and beef. If anything just salt and pepper will suffice as the taste of the meat cuts are so good!

The Mog Champ sends his regards.

I was here for the standard menu buffet for dinner at $55 per adult. Gonna be real simple with everyone. Went in hungry, went out satisfied.

I think the standard menu is good enough for most eaters, they have some better cuts of meat in premium for sure if you don't mind adding an extra cost to that. But I was still happy with what I had.

The restaurant is quite spacious so it's not difficult to get a table even without a booking, unless you come with a humongous group of course. Enjoyed grilling some meat, some sides that you could order with the buffet, and finally some dessert and fruits!

Thanks for the fast and clean service Rengaya. Have a good night!

Mogliest Regards,
Your Mog Champ

Absolutely amazing experience here for my birthday dinner yesterday. Service was absolutely fantastic, all staff were extremely nice, food was 10/10, and the presentation was honestly phenomenal! Will definitely be going back!

Only thing I would say as a possible upgrade would be if it was a seperate restaurant and more closed off from the other shops. Could have been loud if it was during a busy time on the weekend.

Overall still 5 stars

Great selection of meat and seafood, we couldn't get enough of the scallops! The highlight of the night was the yuzu jelly. Staff are friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to come back!!

My go-to Yakiniku restaurant in Sydney. I have been there a couple of times. It was $55 for all-you-can-eat for weekend lunch in April. Plenty of meat and some side dishes, also includes some sushi but limited. Free rice refill. Drinks are not included, but you can order extra. I'm glad the recent visit there were full of customers, however to be honest I really liked the lunch set that they had previously for something like $40(don't remember exactly). I felt like the quality of the meat was much better then. However for $55 it was a really good value. I guess one day I will have to try premium! Lots of seats and good customer service.

This review is for their current promotion for the $55 Standard Buffet (dining limit is 90 min, which consists of 60 min ordering + 30 minute to finish your meal) which is on until further notice. The promo is only for Wednesday & Thursday dinner, and Saturday & Sunday lunch. Bookings are highly recommended!

They have great selections for the price. I enjoyed everything, and my faves were Beef Harami, Beef Rib, LA Short Rib, Yukke, Tako Karaage, the sushi, salmon salad & unlimited Matcha-Ya soft serve 😍

There meats is spot on, not top tier premium but good quality. Other products are fresh and testy. Good service by real Japanese. Every time we came here never disappointed.

We’ve been here yesterday though not the first time and we are happy for the overall experience especially the staffs understanding us with our issue in our food ordering.
For us, the premium buffet is worth it and there is so much selection.
The only thing I want to recommend is to update the system in food ordering. The food serving is not consistent we are not sure how many serving is the serving in each dish so it confused us.And also prefer that there is a note on system which food is out. It’s hard to order as group and I think it made the experience slow especially if you come close to closing time.Because of the system ordering we ended up ordering too much food that what we can have.

Highly recommended!! Thanks for a great dinner. The customer service was excellent, as well as the food. It was a lovely space. We love tongue, oyster blade, Harami!!!
Will definitely go back again.
Momo and Jana, thank you for your wonderful explanation about food and meat.

Beef quality was really good; Juicy and tender, melting in the mouth. I was so full from binge eating but still didn’t feel bloated. They certainly use good quality of ingredients. + friendly staff

It costs $2 to change the grill, so we just chose to enjoy a little bit of burnt taste. Still tasty👍🏼

Went here for the Wagyu BBQ Buffet. After years, this place is still NOT one of the best place for BBQ in Sydney. BUT THE BEST!

The meat melts in your mouth, the affordable price that caters for everyone to taste luxury, it doesn't get any better and the best compliment from me is that there is nothing to improve..

Whiskey guide:
Suntory "Hakushu" - vanilla, sort of creamy taste great for appetizers, something sweet.

Nikka "Taketsuru" - sweet, more fruity, and refreshing, perfect to balance the Wagyu for main dish

Ichiro's malt and grain - sweet, roasted, nutty, best for dessert and finishing drink

Hibiki - signature Japanese oaky flavour, malty, and great for itself

We went there for dinner and it was amazing! The price was 100% worth it. The quality of meat is great, sashimi like Salmon, Tuna, Scallops are so….fresh, plus so many sides and desserts to eat! The staff are super friendly and nice too. 😋😋😋

We came here with friends and two little kids. It wasn't busy at the time and we had plenty of space for us. The service was very good and the food was delicious. High chairs provided and plastic cups and plates given to the little ones.

We chose the all you can eat option and got stuck into the beef BBQ and sashimi. I like their gas fire grill because it doesn't get smoke and oily. I know the food tastes better on charcoal but we came with little kids and the smoke normally bothers them.

It was hard to find the place because it was our first time. We parked in the plaza next door and walked around the outside to find the escalator to go upstairs. We later discovered a bridge between their building and the plaza. Do your research before you come.

Remember your 2 hours to order what you want starts from your booking time, not when you walk in.

Good experience overall.
But if I may make a suggestion.
You need better desserts please.
Watermelon in a little cup is not dessert.

One of the best Japanese BBQ restaurant, with high quality meat and a wider of choices food and dessert.

$55 for the standard buffet BBQ is a good price although the selection is quite limited. Friendly service and clean environment. Ordering on the iPad is easy to use.

After trying this place out once with my partner, I’M ADDICTED!!! If I could go everyday I would.

1. I always go premium to get all options.
I’ve never tried standard as I’d like to have options. If you order standard, you’ll get standard.
2. Food options are awesome
3. The vodka drinks are so yummy and sweet.
4. The service is great. Very kind servers who always have a smile when serving. I sometimes feel like I’m back in Japan. It feels like a very authentic Japanese restaurant experience.
5. Booking is essential sometimes even a week in advance as it can book at easily
6.It’s very pricey for the Premium but you are getting ABSOLUTE QUALITY AND QUANTITY for your buck. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.
7. There are a few steps so I’m unsure of wheelchair access sorry. There may be an elevator close by but there are still like 2-3 at entrance
8. My partner and I park quite far away but we enjoy the 8min walk. I haven’t ever parked in the actual shopping mall.
9. We have made a tradition to go once a month because it’s my number 1 place to eat.

My favourite restaurant in Sydney! — Incredible Wyagu for all you can eat Japanese food! Momo is so courteous and helpful to deal with any bookings. We have booked our boxing team anniversary celebrations for 2 years now with over 20 people at Rengaya because it's got all the variety we need, Halal meat for our Muslim students and overall an incredible dinner experience leaving everyone better than satisfied!
