The portions here are MASSIVE! And we didn’t know that when we ordered!!

But we hadn’t eaten all day or had dinner the day prior, helped us make a decent dent!

Doesn’t look like much off the street, surrounded by high rises and big chain restaurants.

Real sweet beauty.

An absolute gem of a Japanese restaurant tucked away in a little corner near a busy Pitt and George Street.

Nestled between some really old beautiful heritage buildings, you get this feeling like you're teleported back in time. It's such an interesting and incredible experience seeing all the stain-glass fixings and wooden walls and staircases.

The restaurant itself is spacious enough and comfortable with a few seating options. It is cosy and slightly tight fitting but definitely still comfortable . I love the little wall of Christmas animatronics and decorations they have here. Its there all year round and you can get the table right beside it! I love it !

The food! WOW! Some of the best Japanese food I've ever experienced. The Udon is delicious and warming and served extremely fresh and hot. The noodles are so soft and the perfect consistency. The broth is perfectly seasoned and just divine !

The teriyaki tofu was incredible! So fresh and soft and yummy! The grilled eggplant was also delicious.

The serving sizes are truly MASSIVE!! You get a extremely generous amount of food on your plate for very decent prices. And everything is served super fresh and hot.

The service is very friendly and welcoming and helpful.

We definitely loved our experience here from the fresh authentic delicious Japanese food to the ambience of the heritage buildings and the decor and the music. I will definitely be back!

Small place that serves delicious Japanese food. Make reservations because it gets full quite fast. We dropped in for dinner and shared a starter, had 2 mains, some sashimi and a drink a piece. Costed about 100$.
Definitely try out the octopus balls, quite tasty!
Wait staff are friendly but just there were only 2 when we went and it was a full restaurant so they were quiet busy serving all the patrons. Take a good appetite!

Delicious Japanese food right in the centre on the city, good for avoiding the busy 5pm-6pm period. Staff were great, very helpful.

was walking around looking for a ramen shop during a cold evening and bump into this shop.
it's a hidden gem right in the middle of the town. you blinked and you will miss it.
Like the simplicity of the shop and i was totally surprised with the gigantic size of the ramen when the server brought out to my table. Nice food, nice people and nice ambient

Where has this restaurant been all my life bc I am obsessed!! Always passed it on my walks in the city but never went inside and now I’m gonna come back as a regular. Teriyaki chicken was the best most saucy delectable teriyaki chicken I’ve tasted. Bento box was a bit exxy at $20+ but it’s got a lot of side dishes.

Friends got the udon which was absolutely massive lol

Went back for the unagi bowl and omggggggggggg 10000/10

The waitstaff and chefs were absolutely lovely. Our server Kana (I hope I’ve spelt that correctly) was amazing and so hospitable, genuinely so lovely and went above and beyond for us. Food was incredible, we recommend listening to the staff recommendations, they know their stuff!! Ice cream was life changing!!

This restaurant is simply amazing.

At the entrance the ambience doesn’t look great due to the front setting of the restaurant but once you enter everything changes quite quickly. Customer service is top notch, food is excellent, prices are reasonable and quantity is extremely good. Very good value for money overall.

I just love their Ramen and Bento box and they are good for both dine in and take always.

Even if you get food for takeaways the packing is extremely good and they pack everything separately and use cling wrap very well to ensure you can safely take the food home and enjoy.

We tried the food through one of the delivery apps and it was so good that we decided to go directly to the restaurant to dine in. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! The restaurant has a great vintage vibe, the staff is so friendly all the plates and cuterly were so unique!! We had an amazing meal there. We will come back for sure.

Always excellent Japanese food. Comfortable inside with older interiors but always feels nice. Staff are friendly and food comes out quickly. Sushi, noodles and curries are always fresh and tasty.

Ramen bigger than my head, very yummy for a decent price

Came in didn't really know what to order for a company Melbourne cup day, the staff was nice enough to go over and recommend some dishes that were ideal for a small gathering. Pleasantly surprised by service, and the food was godsend, but then again, I'm bias towards sushi lols.

Walked in was greeted with a lovely customer service. Foods is fresh and very good. Will be back again.

Small venue, with a wide selection of reasonably priced Japanese food. The bento boxes were very good - quick to come & tasty.

Went to this place with no expectations. But man. I was blown away by the amazing food. We ordered spicy chicken bento, chicken katsu meal pack and some almond prawn rolls. The taste of all the dishes were just amazing. I wish it were closer to my home so that I can visit very often. My only concern is the price. They give a good amount of serving for the price, but I wish they had smaller serves for lesser price.

Food here is so good! We ordered Agedashi Tofu and Salmon Sashimi Don (fresh salmon topped on sushi rice), both really delicious!

Incredible ramen and all the food that comes out of the kitchen looks fantastic. Ambiance isn’t the best but food is fantastic. Don’t hesitate to visit

Excellent Japanese restaurant. Good service, very reasonably priced and the food is beautifully presented. Small venue so arrive early or book.
