Tried Nasi Lemak with curry chicken and it was a but cold.
The taste overall was good though and the other food on the menu looked good.

Its quite hard to find a place that sells fried radish cake, but I'm glad I found this place. Really enjoyed my meal and it reminded me of my childhood days in Malaysia. Thank you!

Great Malaysian restaurant cleverly disguised as a regular food court outlet. Really nice Laksa, great soup base, the chicken is cooked very nicely despite being breast meat (but the prawn was quite overcooked and tough). Noodles were very good. Also had the curry puff which was really nice, despite being pre-made. Lots of customers means high turnover, so fresh food.
It’s not too hard to get a seat in the food court area which is a nice plus.

Sooo...i would like to welcome you all to one of the most underrated eateries found in the cbd..please raise yo hands for Alice's Makan🙌🙌🙌 operating inside the Pavillion foodcourt TownHall is where you'll find this amazing Malaysian eatery. Discovered it when I was searching for places with great Char Kway Teow and heard a few recommendations from other reviews about this spot. I can say this is so far the best Char Kway Teow i've had around sydney cbd 👌 flavour balance was perfect!!! Slight charred taste..check! Chinese sausage..check! Prawns..check! Spicy..check! And the holy fried pork fat..CHECK! Boiii this dish was unbelievable 🙌 anywaaaayssss we also tried the laksa here as well andd that was also incrediblee!!! Another amazing balance of flavour with the laksa broth creamy coconutty and flavourful with the shrimp paste on top! These are like malaysian standard dishes done at an elite level..😭👌 so glad to have found this gem..Nooow the one problem is...and this is why i also say they are underrated...because they only open on weekdays till 4pm 😱 so most people wont be able to try them unless they work within city during the week. I was hoping theyd at least be operating some days for dinner or even during weekend, i'd be visiting so much more! Unfortunately thats just how it is..one day might just feel cute enough to hit them up and persuade them to open up longer hours..i dunno..anywaaaays gonna go again for sure and try out the other dishes too 👀👀👀 stay tuned..try it for yourself people..can guarantee the laksa and char kway teow is worth it 👌...peaceee ✌

Wok hey flavour on point! They even added pork lard which I feel is always a must for char kway teow. Better tasting compared to Hojiak and half the price. That’s a win

Alice's Makan makes the best Laksa in Sydney CBD. The quality of the ingredients are different, and the portion is so generous, it makes you cry with joy. If you love laksa and happen to be in the city, don't hesitate and visit Alice.

First time trying Mee Goreng, and I am satisfied with the large portion and rich ingredients. Love the tomato sauce and tofu inside especially.

Just had lunch here after checking reviews in Google. The chicken laksa is very flavourful and the chicken is tender. Stock so good I nearly finished the whole soup. I highly recommend this place for a quick lunch if you're in Town Hall.

Makan Alice started in Thornleigh, but now it has moved to Sydney CBD in a food court, but service is still excellent . I have Kon loh mee with fried chicken, and my husband has fried radish cake. Both dishes taste authentic . Bring back to Malaysia.
