Burnt Creek Cottages

We booked out the 6 cottages. They were extremely comfortable with all needs met. Views were truly truly spectacular!!! A very peaceful relaxing location. The pool and the tennis court were a real bonus and greatly appreciated as they kept the children entertained.

Spent 2 nights at the cottage 4. It was spotless clean and very cosy. Amazing nature views and if you're lucky to with a clear sky then must do a bit of start gazing. Very conveniently located, only 10 minutes drive to the Mansfield town centre.

My favourite place to stay every time I visit Mansfield. Perfect all year round, sitting by the fire with a wine over looking the stunning views in winter and summer it's a stones throw from the lake or even having a dip in the pool after a game of tennis. Owners are lovely and always go above and beyond to help and accommodate how ever they can.

What a view! Turn around… what a view!
Hard not to feel completely relaxed up in these beautifully positioned cottages. Time moves slow as you read a book, pop the kettle on and soak up all Mother Nature has to offer. A short drive to the lake if you feel like a dip or why not just jump in the pool? And if the day hasn’t been relaxing enough, have a soak in the spa before tucking your toes in. Will be back time and time again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to relax & unwind! Unreal views and the most cosy cabins with everything you need. The indoor fire place overlooking the views was my favourite. Incredible hosts too! Highly recommend!

A delightful set up of the cottages each overlooking the rolling hills of Mansfield with scattered trees and sheep mosing around. We booked a couple of cottages at once & having these couple of seperate dwellings made the group stay together very relaxing with that bit of privacy. A fire place and a deck and very kind hosts, couldnt have asked for anything more. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view. Probably in top 3 best views at an accommodation, another favourite was in Tasmania in the Mountains. Cottage contained everything we needed and location was close to everything. Lots of wildlife around and cosy fireplace.

Just the perfect spot to get away from the everyday grind.
The view was superb!!Just a great place to quiet the mind and body and learn to reconnect with nature.

Beautiful location, with excellent service. Had to get some help with our room, and help was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a spot with excellent views and space to relax in. My Wife and Daughter both loved it.

The views from cottages are unbelievable. Lovely hosts and a beautiful spot to relax.

Although a little dated this place is a gem. Waking to the amazing view, watching sunset and simply looking our at the amazing view is a treat. We will be back.

This is the most beautiful getaway with absolutely stunning views! The owners are so lovely and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. It’s a great location with lots to do at any time of year!

Really great place to stay, located at the top of a hill that offers a great 365 degrees view. The rooms were clean with comfy beds. Small things like having washing powder available with the machine, a light torch, a few games, dvds do make a difference and are welcome if you need them. The host was also very nice and available for any questions or other requests to make the stay even more special. The only minor point might be the lack of air-conditioning in the bedrooms, with only one located in the living area, and so it can be a bit hot at night in summer. Also the gravel road to the houses should probably get a bit more care so that it's not as dusty and bumpy.

Beautiful accommodation, very clean and cosy cottage with an amazing view. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we need and the bedrooms are generously sized and comfortable. Will be back again in the near future.

On top of the world ! 360 views of the stunning landscape below including Lake Eildon. Rooms were clean and pool was inviting. Excellent hosts that went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable . A lovely girls weekend away, we’ll be seeing you next year !

What magnificent and clean well priced accommodation in a spectacular part of Victoria. Beautiful views of Lake Eildon and a great retreat in winter after a great days skiing. Warm comfortable and well sized cottages for 4. Very friendly hosts. Recommend to anyone and everyone

A very cosy place to stay for a small family. Everything was well organised and the cabins were clean with all amenities provided. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.
The cabins are perched on a hill providing 360 degree views of the surrounding plains which were bordered by mountains. The views were absolutely amazing. From the early morning low lying fog which gave us the feeling we were high up in the heavens until the sunlight filtered through breaking the light into golden rays which sparkled through the clouds as the fog rose to reveal postcard perfect views.
The bird life is prolific too. The magpies and all sorts of parrots, lorikeets and the like get very close and personal. This is a very special place for anyone who wants a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 10 days in May with my husband. We couldn't have wished for a better place. Extremely clean, spacious, modern, the sheets were crisp white, very warm doona and eletric blankets. The owners Karyn & Richard welcomed us when we arrived, and were available whenever we needed anything, being extremely helpful, and leaving us to our privacy when we wanted it. The cottages are about 12km outside of Mansfield, which was great for us. A quiet location with stunning views, but a lovely local town close by for when we wanted anything or needed a shopping/coffee fix.

We had a lovely relaxing long weekend just gone, at the cottages. The days were warm and nights very chilly, so we thoroughly enjoyed the wood heater to warm us up nicely before dinner and before bed.
The verandah was our favourite place and the views are exceptional, calming, picturesque and inviting.
Cottage amenities are exceptional, kitchen was even equipped with a dishwasher, which we only used once to conserve the tank water.
The spa, we only used once also for same reason but the shower was also well pressurised even tho the cottages are positioned way up the top of the spur overlooking the valley below.
There was everything at our fingertips, and honestly we could have spent several more days here. Have to come back in summer to try the pool and tennis court but we were happy to just chill and lay about.
Our hosts were Bill and Linda and they couldn't do enough for us. It was a delight to talk with them.
Very friendly people, lovely cottages, exceptional views in a lovely part of Victoria where there is many delightful things to do and see all year round. Mansfield is only a stones throw away.
We will certainly be back here again.
