We took the sea lion tour and it was a good experience. Very friendly crew members on board. The fish farming and sustainability was explained well and it was something new to us. Although the kids were kinda bugged with the talking it all got well when we started to spot dolphins and sea lions.

The best part is we had signal on the phone in the sea 😄

Next time we will try the shark warrior with these guys.

Sensational day from Port Lincoln to Neptune Islands to go shark cage diving. We chose Adventure Bay Charters because of their conservation passion and the Aqua sub was included. Captain Dan and the crew Brett, Gloria, Taj and Lucy were all helpful, informative and engaging. The food supplied was plentiful and delicious throughout the day. Many on our tour did get to see sharks in the cage, and although I missed out, we still saw so much wildlife...sharks from the deck, heaps of fish, dolphins and juvenile fur seals. Loved it and will be back again.

I booked 2 tours: cage dive with great white shark, and swim with sea lion.

The captain Matt and all the crews are very friendly and professional. Great white sharks look amazing from the cage. Sea lions swam around closely and they're very lovely. Both tours are amazing, exciting and unforgettable.

Last but not least, crews do not let us feed the shark, but they keep feeding us :) My original plan was not to eat to avoid sea sickness, but it turned out I cannot stop eating a lot of tasty chicken, salad, sausage, etc they cooked on the boat :)

It was just AMAZING. We picked the company that doesn't use bite to attract the shark (therefore, it's respectful with the environment) and we had a great day and we saw this beautiful great white. We also did the bottom cage diving, although it was moving quite a lot it was something unique. I honestly believe that if you want to see wildlife in its natural habitat you need to care about them and not interfere in their feeding process. Thanks for taking care of the ocean guys!

What an amazing day! Matt, Dan and Sarah were great, very professional and knowledgeable. Saw white sharks in their natural habitat. The boat is fantastic. Was just a brilliant day! If this is on your bucket list do it with this company you wont be dissapointed. 10 stars if I could.

I went on the boat on the 30th of December 2020. I drove close to 22 hours to come down for this. I was fully aware that these are wild animals. Wild animals will do their own thing. I have also done the shark dive in the aquarium which was awesome too. If the brochures weren't as clear as they were I would have otherwise never taken a pill for seasickness. But I did. Which was the best decision ever. Even if you never get sick. Take one!

The staff is amazing and the best thing is, they don't use bait at all! I have seen different sharks and they were beautiful!

Thank you so much for an amazing day!

Great staff. Very accommodating especially when my sister got very seasick. Unfortunately sharks didn't show themselves but that's wildlife for you. Highly recommend and will be doing it again.

Friendly and helpful crew. Made us all feel welcome and looked after us. Made an effort to ask us who we were and where we were coming from. Looked after those less comfortable in the water. A great experience getting out on the water and swimming with the Sealions. They are big on conservation and mindful of being sustainable as well as an entertaining tour operator. Excellent.

I did my cage dive almost 6 months ago with Adventure Bay Charters (I know - I'm late to do this review - Sorry guys!!). Since then I've travel the Australian Outback, West Coast, Top End and North Island of New Zealand. My Cage Dive with ABC stands out as my favourite experience of the trip so far!
From start to finish I was blown away by how kind, caring and professional the staff were.
We saw our first shark within 10 minutes of arriving at the Neptune Islands and within an hour everyone on the boat had been through either the cage or AquaSub and seen a Shark (both in my case!)
The food was plentiful and so good - I didn't eat much because I was sea sick but the guys made sure i had lots of ginger tea and water and honestly took such good care of me!
The next day I went back out and swam with the Sea Lions - SO much fun & I felt so safe!!
The pictures they took both days were amazing!!
Thanks so much - will 100% be back to do it again some day!!!

The Sea Lion tour was worth every penny. The swim was so much fun and the sea lions are very cute. The team were very friendly and professional. They seemed very confident and calm in the rough morning voyage. All the instructors, including the captain hold a marine biology higher education qualification so we were kept well informed about the plight of the Australian Sea Lions. We took the morning tour, although they gave us the options to come back in the afternoon or another day, due to the rough voyage forecast. The team on board were always paying attention and assisting all passagers throughout the trip. It was nice having some refreshment in the morning and at lunch.

It gives us a peace of mind choosing an eco-business tour operator. We were privileged to swam along with the sea lion, which are currently a danger species because of their long reproduction cycle and sea pollution. Therefore, knowing that there are strict policies in place to protect them during the tour in their conservation areas was comforting.

The instructors were very informative about the sea lion, the overall history and key information about the conservation areas. They were eloquent about the importance of protecting the environment by doing small steps at home and when being in nature. Unfortunately, pollution in our sea if affecting our marine flora and fauna.

We strongly recommend to hire the go pro camera and it was nice receiving some pictures taking by the instructors in the trip. If you are in the area it is a must do tour in the Eyre Peninsula.

10⭐ WOW! What a day! Mat and his young yet professional crew didn't disappoint and neither did the sharks.... or dolphins! I personally saw 8 shark passes! Having the cage AND sub on board makes for double the amount of people to be able to view the sharks and gives an opportunity for non swimmers to see the action.
I have ceolic disease and the crew catered for me really well. The food was fantastic and plenty for everyone.
This is clearly a professional company that prides itself on giving its customers the best experience possible. The crew interacted with everyone on board and were very knowledgeable. We had the best day! Thank you Mat, Kelsey, Marissa,Jack and Mark! You guys are the best!

{ Best Day Out EVER }
-
Unsurpassed Excellent South Australian Hospitality and professionalism.
-
This company including our early morning pickup...exceeded my expectations, and beyond.
Educational, soooo much food, all the staff were congruent in their support, JUST LOVED IT.
-
Beyond making our day amazing it’s worth noting as a fellow businessman I found Matt to be humble and supportive of his local competition and other business on Port Lincoln as he encouraged us to try other companies and similar tour operates.
That is a true measure of quality human being and quality company in my opinion.

The best activity we got to do during our month long holiday in South Australia. The staff was so caring and friendly with everyone on board. My kids (11 and 13 years old) went in the cage with us and everything went super well. Make sure you take seasickness tablets before boarding as the 3 hours journey to the Neptune islands can be rough. We were lucky to see 4 great white sharks on the day. A must do if you are in Port Lincoln. Extra points for Emma who has been an absolute gem! So caring and friendly. We had a great time.

Cage diving with great white sharks has been a bucket list activity of mine for a long time. After extensive research and looking at various providers I decided to book with Adventure Bay Charters. The team were exceptionally helpful with all questions in advance. I also decided to add swimming with Sea Lions as part of the package. On arriving in the morning, we were treated to a warm welcome by the team, and breakfast before boarding the boat. There were more than five members of staff on the boat on the day with marine biology experience, with all of them happy to share information about the sharks and other marina wildlife that we were likely to see. I also choose to do the deep cage dive which goes down to 18m. On the day, I was fortunate enough to see 2 Great White Sharks, which are much more majestic in real life tan any photo or video can prepare you for! The following day I did the half day Sea Lions tour which was such a good pairing with the Sharks. The sea lions a very playful and very interactive. To top it off, Dylan from the Adventure Bay team team took myself and another guest to coffin bay national in the afternoon. It was well over and above, we didn’t have access to a car so this was such an added perk of booking with a local friendly company! Would recommend without hesitation! Watching Great whites while listening to rock music is a winning combo!

Isn’t it funny how sometimes you know you are living the moment that you’ll never forget? I had this exact thought on the 16th of January on the back deck of the Adventure Lady, standing surrounded by my family and best friends, looking out over the white sandy beaches of Blythe Island, watching Sea Lions frolic in the ocean, like they were waving goodbye. I quietly smiled to myself, and in that moment, I knew, I will never forget.
To explain, in January of 2021 I had the pleasure and privilege of privately chartering the Adventure Lady for my 21st birthday celebrations. From start to finish, it was perfect.

From checking in in the office to stepping off the boat the staff were incredible, I have so much respect for what they do.

The crew, Daniel, Sophie, Kelsi and Daisy, were stand out. They were all so happy I don’t think I saw them not smiling. They made sure everyone was comfortable, safe and having a good time. With their expert Marine Biology knowledge, the crew educated us on the Sea Lions and marine environment, even explaining how we could do things in our everyday lives to protect the beautiful creatures. I am so thankful to them for all that they did for me and for us, I and all my guests had an unforgettable experience.

The interaction with the Sea Lions was phenomenal. We had two main groups that were playing around, and they were brave enough to swim directly in front of us. We got some amazing footage on our own cameras, and the crew took some great pictures of us as well!

I am so grateful to Adventure Bay Charters, the crew and the Sea Lions for making our experience the best birthday I could have every asked for. I find myself talking about my experience so much. I could not more highly recommend booking with Adventure Bay Charters. You won’t regret it!
