Nice lookout and a great place to come and watch the sun set. We came up and had a simple bbq, snags, bread, sauce, couple of beers and enjoyed the wonderful view. There are picnic tables, bin and a wood fire bbq for people to use. Enjoy

We stayed at the Timber Creek Hotel Caravan Park for a night and decided to explore the area for a couple of hours; very glad we did - highly recommended.

Don't miss the Nackeroo Lookout or Bradshaw Bridge. Also consider dawn and sunset visits to the lookout.

Nackeroo Lookout is accessed via a one lane sealed road and offers several vantage points overlooking the township and Victoria River.

Spectacular views. 360° and every inch is just gorgeous. Its well worth the small drive up to the lookout.

Worth the detour if you have the chance. A monument to a unique part of our military history. A testiment to human endurance and service before self.

Would recommend development of shade structures over the tables on the other side - to allow people to stay longer and enjoy the view after they visit the memorial.
