I went there for mirror change and servicing as a drop in customer, they were good.
They are often busy with many people coming in but they do recommend for a time to come in..

The old man is very expert and has been working in this industry from ages, he is an honest and down to earth because specially in automobile industry honesty and trust is main thing which really these things to this old man. Appreciate for his work because I have come numerous times here and got always better experience.

Fantastic job and very cheaper price

One of the best mechanic I have experienced. the old boss is honest and down to earth. maybe he was grumpy when busy. But be nice to him and you got the better, give him a cold coke. Appreciate for his work.

Kun is a great mechanic, but you need to be careful as he can get angry very quickly.
He is an old fellow, having been serving the community for about 40 years with his expertise and fair charges so we need to be polite to him.

Came because of the good reviews on Google and the previous car owner recommended me this place. No regrets. Some might say the old guy is rude but for me and my husband we had no problem at all. Just be polite and respectful, he will treat you the same. Problem solved. Will surely make this place my go to car service. 👍

Very good but very busy too

As you see, all rated 4* & 5*. Initially I went there 2 times and the guy said he got no time come on another day and I didn't like the customer service. I made an appointment next time and he fixed in couple of hours where other mechanics asked to leave for a day at least. Initially the old man will sound rude but once you get to know him he is a very nice person and you ask anyone in transport industry they will tell he is the best mechanic in Adelaide. Very cheap and best mechanic as far I know.
When other places quoted for $700 he did the job for $170. According to my neighbour the lowest quotation he got for a job from other mechanics were $800 and Croydon motors did for $200.

Honest and trustworthy. Always got cheap price here . Best in my area . I never asked him how much he want for fault fix . 5 star definitely.

Do my 2009 corolla general service again. Service fee 60, change brake 80, total $140. Very happy with the service.

The grandpa who works there is an icon for adelaide I feel. Honest and disciplined. you sure will not get cheated here.

The owner of Croydon Motors is Con.
I call him "father of the Taxi industry in Adelaide", and he knows that. You can't find any mechanic in Adelaide who is cheaper than Croydon Motors for the same quality of service. I give him 10/10, always.

Very cheap!.. half price comparing to other quotes!..Con the owner is a great honest man..he can be abrupt at first knowing him but is a very friendly honest mechanic..its best if you have a rough idea what problem you have before going to him, also ringing before you go see him..just makes it more easy to get a quote..
