Eastlakes Shopping Centre

Awesome new Woolies Metro store now open in the new part of the centre with the new Aldi. It's there for when the centre proper is demolished in a year or so.

Really cool little top up shop with a friendly team. Super quick to get on and out of too with 99 car parks directly underneath and escalators to get you to the shops. All very COVIDsafe.

Was here in May 2018. Totally retro and fun to explore. Go before some developer turns it into another glossy soulless space filled with chains and franchises, and all the Greek old men move off elsewhere for their endless chats.

Anchored by Woolworths and Aldi, and ably supported by a multicultural cast of independent businesses - a few excellent fruit and veg stores (Eastlakes Fruit and Veg is a personal fav), Greek, Middle Eastern, Russian, Indian and Chinese grocery stores, walk-in butcher and fish monger, a couple of bakeries, cafe, Chinese restaurant, and assorted non-chain outlets.

Boutique shopping mall, Main store is woolworths shopping centre.Other boutique stores include international mini markets, deli store.Fruit and veggies and small cafés and restaurants.Unfortunately due to decline of retailers, the shopping mall is due for renovations.

I had been there quite a few times, small but almost all types of shops.

Great little shopping centre that has most of what you need for day to day life. For mobility impaired people, I suggest you go in a car and not try to use public transport as it is a bit of a hike.

This is one of the places preserved in time. The whole centre is a step back in time to the 80s and 90s. Authentic feel with the decor, layout, and retail shops. Would highly recommend if you want to do a 1980s retro party here.

What can I say... what an experience. Take a step back in time and into what I can only assume is some sort of 'wet-market' themed mall much like one found somewhere north of the South China Sea.

Come to Eastlakes Shopping centre for only the finest second hand shoes, shops with missing letters in their signs and a woolworths that holds the record for the most cigarette sales three years running.

The woolworths within is so great that even their delivery drivers won't leave, and insist you make the journey down to experience Eastlakes Shopping centre first hand. So come on in and see for yourself why this mall is South Sydney's best kept secret.

Great bread at very reasonable prices that you won't find elsewhere. All the deli shops are fantastic. Would be sad to see this place replaced by chain stores.

Love this place! It's like a trip back to the 80s shopping centres of the suburbs. A good mix of big supermarkets and small businesses run by local community members. It will be sad to see this redeveloped...

This is my favourite shopping centre in all of Sydney. There's no ethnicity that isn't catered for. Lots of small family run delis from all over the world plus a Woolworths and an Aldi. The shopkeepers are unbelievable friendly and the centre is always full of families from every part of the globe doing their shopping. The atmosphere is extremely friendly. It's an old school shopping centre rarely seen these days due to huge new developments all over Sydney. I would go so far as to call it a tourist destination, so unique and charming is this place.

The is an amazing little deli in there, best cold meats i have had. Traditional style, cut fresh. Lakes gourmet deli is it's name from memory

I have visited so many times. Customer service is highly appreciated. Staff are friendly and supportive. Can find huge range of middle eastern food and stuff specially the egyptian foods..

Its a pretty decent shopping centre. Ok parking. Rest rooms. Basic variety of stores onsite.

Eastlakes Shopping Centre is worth visiting if only to step back about 40 years in time. This is Sydney before the word "renovation" was invented, and "ethnic" meant 1.5 m tall Mediterranean immigrants! It is the antithesis of 21st century pumped up, overdone Sydney, and I quite like it for that reason.

The perfect community shopping centre. All of the important stores are available. The future of the centre is going to be a modern upgrade of the entire complex should planners, and local council, give the Green light to go.
