Hayashi Japanese Restaurant

We went here for Valentin’s dinner. Parking a bit hard to find so we called the shop and they actually provide garage parking for customer.

The food was nice and fresh. The Jumbo sashimi was one of the best. Also the beef tataki was nice and well seasoned.

They were 2 dishes that we wasn’t 100% like were tempura oyster and Japanese Pancake. Maybe as we not a fry stuff person but we found that that dishes was a bit salty and oily.

Staff were nice and offered us a remake but still comeback with salty.

Next time we will just stick with fresh seafood and other dishes than deep fried.

This place is beyond impressive. There was a gentleman looking very formal stood right at the counter next to the door. He never seemed to leave his post ( well as I could see). It reminded me of some fine dinning restaurants I went to, for some reasons.
The ambient is authentic. The design is the mixture of authentic Japanese ( with all the wallpaper, pictures , and the traditional partitions ( they appeared like paper but of course, I did not try to poke it to prove I was right). The yellowish lighting was just right, warm and welcoming; yet, light enough to see things clearly. Staffs are very polite. There is a bar with a wide range of alcohol from beer on tap to sake) The wine glasses handing on top of the bar are spotless. All of them!
Speaking of the staffs, one of them are this cute robot with big blue eyes. I have been to many places that use robots to deliver food the customers, but they don’t have those cute eyes like this one. I felt like I could just pet it like a cat.
The food quality justifies the prices; therefore, no complaint on this matter. They also have catering sushi boats. If I have to entertain, I will not be hesitate to order one of them.
There were four men sitting on the table next to me. They were really enjoyed themselves. A couples dining in together smiling and looking happy.
Nevertheless, they also do Ubereats, so if you are too lazy (or tipsy) to drive there , stay safe at your comfortable home and order the delivery.
This place is the hole in the wall. I highly recommend you try 😊

My wife and I were a bit nervous when we arrived and found out Hayashi was under new management with an entirely new menu, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food is the best it's ever been and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese menu and friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

The beef tataki is great. Good customer service. The restaurant also uses the robot to deliver the food, which is another cool thing. Good place for dine-in, nice atmosphere!

Our group was well looked after with a chef's selection of various dishes. Everything we were served was excellent and the owner and all the staff were welcoming and friendly with fast and efficient service.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner with husband 2 months ago. The environment of the restaurant was good, price is reasonable, food was fresh too! They even prepare a small green tea cake and a candle for my husband birthday!

A long-time local favourite of ours, which is made even better by being in the Entertainment Book. On our most recent visit, we shared a mixed sashimi, tori karaage, superior beef and soft shell crab tempura with watermelon. Rice was an extra.

We booked in advance and mentioned that we needed three high chairs, and when we arrived, the table was already set with a plastic bowl, plate, cup and cutlery for each child, plus pens for the kids to draw on the white butcher's paper that covers the tablecloth. Street parking is readily available. We look forward to returning again!

Enjoyed the place and the service from both the robot services to your table and the host service, food presentation typical Japanese high standard, delicious taste we tried many different dishes and cold sake drink, fabulous chef, highly recommend 👍

Awesome place, beautiful interior but most importantly... Great food! Tried a nice little plum wine with our meal which was nice and the service was very well presented.

Price was a little higher than your corner so/every day price but you get what you pay for, great place if you aim to impress!

Beat Japanese food in Perth. The sashimi is super fresh!!! Tataki beef is so tender and fresh. All the sushis are authentic and yum. There are a good variety of japanese wine, sun mai, gin, whiskey and other alcohol to choose from! My girlfriend loved the choya green tea flavour umashu (plum wine). All my friends enjoyed the wines from warriors wine. We had such a great night there! Definitely recommended and we will come back for sure!!!
