Chicken V West Ryde

Went on a public holiday! New menu was excellent. Great soy and original boneless chicken. Very saucy. Also enjoyed the taste of the rice cake soup and added cheese. The soup wasn’t too spicy but sweet and the cheese was very stringy.

Excellent service and delicious food! We ordered the sprinkle chicken, kimchi pancake and pork neck bone soup. Chicken was wonderfully crispy and super juicy inside, very well seasoned too. Kimchi pancake although we thought lacked crispiness, had huge flavour and was a delight to eat. The best was their pork neck bone soup which must have been boiled for days omg the flavour.. thick, savoury and rich with hits of soybean and perilla leaf yummm.

Another great place to get some great chicken dishes in Korean style. The interior design is quite unique and hilarious.
The place is rather hidden, but once you get the parking in the nearby area, it is located inside the shopping strip.

Oh, where do I even begin? This Korean fried chicken joint never fails to amaze! Every visit leaves me in a state of culinary bliss. From the first time I walked through the door, I knew I was in for something special.

The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, and each dish is a delightful adventure for the taste buds. I've explored various items on the menu, and without a doubt, they've all been a gastronomic delight. The chicken, oh the chicken! Crispy on the outside, tender and succulent on the inside, it's a heavenly experience with every bite. The flavors burst in your mouth, and the perfect balance of seasonings keeps me coming back for more.

Great authentic Korean. The fried chicken was just as I remember from Seoul, dumplings were that good they were gone before I could grab a photo. There was a constant stream of pick up orders which we thought was a good sign. It had the quirky feel with the super hero decore which my 4 year old loved and was fascinated with. In an area with a lot of Korean restaurants we were regretting eating at Chicken V.

Super welcoming and friendly staff with a nice atmosphere. I loved the quirks of the decor and the little geeky references like hidden Gundam and other interesting tid bits.

The food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We weren't expecting such large portions so we now have a welcome lunch for tomorrow. Would highly recommend to check this place out.

My friends and I could barely finish what we ordered. Between 3 people we ordered 2 dishes that we could barely finish. The portions were incredibly filling and very tasty. Was delicious. We ordered quite spicy food, so be sure to ask what you're ordering isn't spicy if you can't handle spice well. Not including drinks the food came to about $30 per person. Soft drinks were $4 each with a small $0.06 charge added on I presume for cards.

The staff were lovely & the superheros on/in the walls were cute!

This is the best and our favourite Korean restaurant in West Ryde. The chicken of course is amazing and the portion sizes for me are better than average (compared to icg). For me the standout dishes aren't actually the chicken though, the kimchi stew is the best I've had in Sydney and that's not an exaggeration. It's a thicker soup, with a sweet chilli flavour that you absolutely will finish. Try the kimchi pancake as well!. The family atmosphere is really reflected in the service as well. Side dishes are refilled without asking, and the service is always with a smile.

Calm environment with great customer service. Situated in the heart of West Ryde NSW. The food is top notch.

Good people, service, and chicken. Dug the Comic Book decor. Little bit noisy (so hard to hear others) during peak time.

This lovely lady accidently charged me for a soda. Two seconds later came over with $5, insisted on giving it as a tip for her honesty she refused. Great service and handed mistake so well. Also food was delicious

Must visit for awesome Korean fried chicken and drinks!!

This is a great place, I live down the road and this is now my weekly go to place whenever I feel like korean food. I'm obsessed with their tofu stew, and I go once or twice a week. The staffs are friendly and great service. Place is clean and safe due to covid restrictions.

I love it.

Best fried chicken I've had and at a pretty good price too. The staff were very friendly. Can recommend the half-half boneless chicken and seasoned chicken, and the half potato and half sweet potato plate. (To share of course).

Excellent food, great service. Takes distancing seriously and spotless. Store has a quirky comic book style and good portions for price. Highly recommended! Also allows solo diners!

Great atmosphere with great decorations! Interesting selection of fried fusion chicken.

Came with a group of work colleagues for drinks and traditional chicken with Somak tower was fantastic. It was worth the wait.

If U are chicken fan, you gotta try this place. It is Soooo much better than KFC. Much less oily too. Also to mention they got this little superheroes themes there. Is worth a visit. I Miss U chicken ! ! !
