I absolutely loved this place! We came for a date night and the restaurant has a lovely vibe to it. We left with a food coma. We got the cheesy garlic bread which was incredible!! Wine selection was decent. Mains we got pappardelle Ragu, and a beef cheek ragu, it’s a special but I can’t remember the name. Both were incredible and any questions we had the waiter helped us with! We finished with tiramisu, which had a really strong coffee flavour and the biscuits were a little soggy for my liking, but perhaps that is traditional way of eating it? However, overall amazing, great location you can head into Elizabeth quay afterwards to have some cocktails with the ferry! 👌

Staff were excellent both super friendly and helpful, staff we experienced used perfect form and well professional and polite

The entrees were on point
The drinks were exactly as they should be Sharp and intense
The main course, was true to Italian cuisine, minimum ingredients but the flavour and freshness was Michelin rated
Desert followed just as the previous courses, it didn't disappoint and the Lemonchello is flavoursome and requires you to be a passenger on the way home 👌

Came here for a very special catch up with a large group of dear friends and The Italian didn't disappoint. Great food, drink, background music (just right volume and genre) and overall ambience was fantastic. The staff were awesome too. Friendly, efficient and professional. Gave us a private function feel, with service that was impeccable, - and we couldn't say enough good things about this restaurant. 👏😊

I've been here over 10 times and I've never been disappointed once. Highly recommend booking a dinner slot while they still have the free wine offer.

Lively atmosphere and ambience, loved my Chilli mussels and pistachio semi freddo! Highly recommend both!

Absolutely beautiful Italian food, awesome woodfired pizza and a good discount on takeaway pizzas, trust me you'll want to snack on it at midnight once you finally digest all your food!

Spontaneous walk in and absolutely delightful experience. Food servings were generous, well balanced flavours and just delicious. Nice atmosphere and our server Julia was wonderful. Definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the food at The Italian that we went back twice during our visit to Perth. Loved loved the Spaghetti Marinara, one of the best we have had! The tiramisu was also so yummy I had to buy takeaways! Thank you Sandro for making the arrangements on our table reservation too ( I hope I got your name right)! Hope you enjoyed the coconut kaya spread we left for you! Will definitely go again when we visit Perth next time.

We were a group of vegetarians and a vegan. The vegetarians were happy with the choices available and the staff worked with the vegan to create something good. All our food was absolutely delicious! We all ate pasta, but the pizza looked and smelt amazing. We'll have to go back for that! Our waitperson was delightful and really helped to make a special occasion more special. One word of caution: share the profiteroles - the serve is huge, but delicious!!

Once we got at the door a professional and friendly italian waiter from Salento welcomed us and then we just got the best pizza Margherita in Perth at today! Also excellent for take away. Good job chef!

Food is very good, I had the Duck Confit which was 5 star, others at the table all enjoyed their meals. Friendly service. Reasonably pricing. Will be back

Great food and exceptional service! I was lucky enough to come on an evening where the chef had just started trialing gluten free pizza bases and it was hands down the best pizza I've had in years. Will certainly be back for more!

Beautiful place to visit, extremely accessible as its just a quick walk from the ferry station. The service was great and food was delicious . Will be returning with friends!

When we arrived it was the middle of dinner service on Sunday evening, the place was packed. We were seated promptly, water was delivered and then orders taken, food was on point, one cone bay barramundi and one seafood marinara. Couldn't have been happier, a big thank you to the team.

Friendly and efficient staff with a good knowledge of the food on offer.. ordered the Lamb Shanks with Mash, and my partner ordered the Marinara, and both meals were amazing and decent size portion. Very happy with everything this place is and offers. Would recommend to anyone looking at an Italian restaurant or even any restaurant.
