Range of food was better than other zoos. Had healthy options available. Got a burger each, drinks, chicken nuggets and a pack of chips that was enough for two. The service was fast and friendly. Appreciated the ample seating overlooking nearby areas. The big fans helped on the super hot day.

Also, saw a wombat getting walked!

Great value , can easily spend a whole day here . Lots of animals in spacious enclosures

Stopped here for lunch while at the zoo.
Massive line at almost all times, but got in after the Crocodile performance.
Really well laid out for fast service, with a large range of burgers, salads, wraps, drinks and other hot items available.

Honestly the food is not the best as it is like a fast food restaurant but the place is really nice and from here you can have a look at the crocodiles and to the playground. Basically you can have a breakfast with the crocs. At weekday the place was absolutely not busy.

This cafe had a nice selection of food and beverages, catering to Vegans too! Most notably though, was the excellent customer service Amber gave us. She was super friendly and makes a mean Iced latte. Thanks Amber! Also loved sitting outside near the giant rhino enclosure...very cool.

paid for a tour guide and golf cart and was wonderful. Juli was very knowledgeable and a fun person.

For a zoo the food is 5 star. Hot and tastey, definitely worth the money too as its well priced

Plenty of seats and not too long to get served here and very close to the crocaseum in time for the afternoon show which is great way to slow down the experience in the zoo

Zoo opens at 9am, the staff were still prepping and getting organize and it was 10am. They need to be prepared and ready to go by 9 so families that travel from far can have breakfast at the cafe if they need before starting their big day. Apart from

Main food area had 3 beautiful gf salads to choose from & it was well priced & delicious. 3x gf cakes too.

Extremely busy, not a quiet place to sit and get a coffee and sandwich, personally, did not feel comfortable. Very noisy, expensive for what you get.

First visit to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo and Cafe.... Very large area for ordering food and drinks lots of tables and chairs. Lovely choice of coffee and selection of cakes which I had one of. It was yummy. Lots of Ice cream flavours you can choose from lollies crisps and lots more can be bought. Meals can be ordered to suit all budgets.
We also bought a toy to remember our lovely time at the Zoo in the gift shop. A truck with crocodile in it out Grandson choose.... perfect to round off our day.

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Loved sitting in the warm sun while the kids could run around and play. Great spot to re set during a long day at the zoo.

Oh my god the food was actually really good here

The Thai beef salad was nice but the kids didn't like the burger. We bought chicken sangers with us too ease the cost of 6 kids which wasn't an issue. Our table of 8 had a clear view of the wildlife show which was very cool while we had a snack. A great way too run a buisness. 👏👏👏

When we visited during the spring school holidays the q was just crazily long, snaking around the stalls, well and truly out to the sitting and open areas, a good 1 hr wait. The food quality is pretty standard, but the shoestring fries and sweet potato fries are to die for! Eat these while watching the 1.15pm Crocoseum show was just too satisfying!

Great organised food hall. Good variety and great atmosphere
