I've heard so much about them for many years! I'm glad I finally had the opportunity to visit them during my trip to Perth. Their food was impeccable! Flavours were on point! My husband kept saying the chilli mussels were a game changer! Ambience was cozy and their staffs were friendly. The food was sooo good that we visited them twice during our stay! And tried almost half of their menu! I'm definitely going to recommend it to all my friends if they visit Perth next time!

Truffle Ravioli is a must-order! It’s their popular dish and I can see why. Amazing fired wood pizza, beautifully blistered and crust was crispy.

What a lovely venue! We went there for dinner and to celebrate my daughter's birthday. They were able to accommodate split billing which is fantastic when you're in group. Customer service was absolutely great all the way through. Food was served on time and so were the drinks and desserts. The atmosphere made us feel like if we were all family. I'll definitely save it as a favourite. The only detail which is vanished by the amazing experience is the parking availability in the area.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Food is fantastic, the staff are really nice and lovely. Nathan the owner is an amazing guy, has an amazing team who makes and serves excellent food. Whether you wanted to eat solo or with a group, this is a nice spot. The restaurant is really clean and tidy, as well as modern. Keep up the great work guys. Your pizzas are spot on.

We had such a memorable family dinner at Woodpeckers while visiting from Melbourne. The food was excellent. I ordered the hand-made oven-baked gnocchi, which had amazing flavour. I couldn't fault it! There is a very reasonably priced kids menu. We were seated outdoors where it was lovely and balmy, with lots of space dining with our kids. The ambience was warm and relaxed. Staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Perth.

My hubby and I dined at Woodpeckers for dinner and we were thoroughly impressed with the service, ambience and meals.

We had a little garlic pizza to start - it was perfectly seasoned, light and fluffy.

Next were the mains, my hubby had the tagliatelle bolognese and I had the ravioli tartufati. The balance of truffle and ricotta was just right.

For a wonderful Italian meal, I cannot recommend Woodpeckers enough.

It was very busy when my group came here, yet we already reserved a table. The service was very very good. All staff were friendly & helpful.

All of the meals & drinks that we had were wonderful! My group loved the Ravioli Tartufati, Mussels, and Margheritta most 😍 We also recommend you try the Cheesecake dessert that was really awesome.

The minus that I experienced was only the other table that was too loud, so my friends and I had a bit of inconvenience when communicating.

Overall, our dinner was great and we woulf really love to come back for another hangout! Great job for all of the chefs & staffs at this resto!

Place is at a corner of a street, away from people traffic so I have high expectation and was not disappointed 🙂
Service was great, friendly crew and dessert recommendations interestingly, the desserts are not on the menu.
We had nom tomato based 🦐 pizza, 🦆duck pasta and 🫐🧀cake. Food taste is definitely above average inching towards great.
Reatarunt is not big and felt really cosy. Many guests came in large groups and seem regular.
Am happy to recommend this nice Italian restaurant. Reservation recommended and order after the wood fire oven has baked out a few pizza already 🙂

We just had an anniversary dinner at woodpeckers last night, we had 40 people in total and these guys absolutely excelled. So hospitable, loving and really made sure every single one of us was looked after.
Great food and atmosphere, and the staff were constantly at our help! Truly amazing! If you would like a large crowd pleased, woodpeckers is the one!

Such a great vibe! Staff are very authentic and attentive. Love strolling down for a couple of pizzas and some wine mid week or in an evening. Great wood fired pizzas! We go regularly, it’s our local. Crunchy, not too soft. Great appetizers too, plus varied arancini flavours of the week.

Second time I have been here within a year. We will have to start coming here more often. Everything was on point! They alway made sure our table had jugs of water! I loved that as we were a party of 9 people and we were churning through the water like crazy. So it was amazing that we never had to ask for jugs of water. The pizza amazing would have to be the best wood fire pizza in Perth that we have had. Everything we had was amazing. Thank you so much will be back ❤

Having tried a couple of raved Italian restaurants, this has still got to be my favourite!
(Third visit which is a lot for someone out of town) Visited on a quieter weekday afternoon near to closing time and asked if I could customise the pasta (mix and match pasta and sauces they have), and to my surprise, they were happily to accede to my ‘cumbersome’ request!
Had this lovely homemade tagliatelle with creamy truffle sauce and fresh mushrooms! Paired well with a recommendation from the Italian chef - Light spiced Shiraz from Barossa valley. Yums & Legit!

The food at this restaurant is next level - the best Italian I have had in Perth (yes I understand recency bias). Ordered spaghetti marinara and the goats stew. The food was so fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and the wait staff friendly, funny and helpful.

I am surprised that I have taken this long to write a review, because since I moved to Perth 3 years ago from Ireland, this has been my favourite restaurant. Recommended to me by my sister Rebecca who lived in Perth for a year, it was also her favourite restaurant and I can see why. I came back to Woodpeckers with my family who are visiting from Ireland tonight and the service and the food were exquisite as always- thank you for always making me happy when I am hungry!!

Really great restaurant with amazing food. Staff was so friendly and helpful. They provide highchairs and cutleries for the little ones. There is a bit of space outside for the kids to play. Pizza and pasta dishes were very tasty and so was the kids meal. We asked for gnocchi bolognese instead of linguine for our toddler and they were very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were super friendly. The arancini are delicious and perfect to share. I had the diavola pizza and despite not being very spicy, the flavour was incredible and all of the food was really filling.

Fabulous Italian in Subiaco. Excellent pasta and the most divine Panna cotta. Wonderful staff, very friendly and buzzy atmosphere. Highly recommend 👌
