The current menu is fantastic!

As soon as you enter appellations, it’s interior just blows you away. The seating arrangements are amazing, we had a seat by the window looking over vineyards at sunset. Just simply amazing.

It doesn’t exactly break boundaries with its degustation but it certainly executes the experience excellently. Each dish provided familiar flavours and elevates them, I found myself unable to fault anything about any of the dishes. The highlight for me was the duck and the bread!

It’s not a cheap eat but the experience in my view is worth for any special occasion.

An absolutely superb dining experience. From the moment you arrive, the staff are so attentive and provide 5 star service. I asked for a gluten free meal which they handled with ease. We chose the set menu with matching wines. The food was sensational and the paired wines were astounding, complimenting the food perfectly. A 5 star experience that is one of the best dining experiences we've had. Bravo!

Great place if you’re down for a fine dining experience! Each course you could tell was thoughtful crafted with the flavours being balanced perfectly. My favourite course however, was the fire bread which not only tasted amazing but had a short yet interesting fun factor to it. If you’re looking for a nice dinner in Barossa to spoil yourself, I’d highly recommend Appellation!

Fine dining, great location, professional friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and the wines matched perfectly (even a few surprises - but I wont give away the surprise)

Highly recommended for that special night out - we celebrated our wednesday anniversary and it was just perfect.

The Louise lived up to its reputation. We had the most incredible degustation with matched wines and enjoyed every bite and sip.
It started with pre dinner drinks with delicious canapes, and from there each course surprised and delighted us right through to the best coffee to finish.
It would be hard to pull out any one course as a favourite, it was all so good, however I did use the scrumptious bread to make sure I didn't lose any of the delicious sauce with the calamari noodles!
The service was top notch, we enjoyed the knowledge of the wine waiter and Darcy was a natural, giving friendly and genuine service.

Wow! Service, food and setting were all stellar. Front to back the menu was excellent, highlighting and elevating beautiful, predominantly locally sourced ingredients. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the barossa.

Fabulous evening. Very classy and modern setting. The restaurant design is beautiful and minimal. I cannot fault anything the food was sensational and creative with unexpected flavours . The crockery and glassware carefully selected. The service top quality. The ambiance perfect. When we return we will definately book to stay at the onsite accommodation.

Appelation was a fantastistic taste sensation. Food was divine, wine amazing staff stella snd a drop dead view over the Valley.

My partner & I ate at many places in the Barossa and this was by far the best. We could not fault a single thing about our experience - incredible food, every course was better than the last. Great cocktails, amazing service and a beautiful atmosphere. If you only have time to fit in one dining experience whilst in the Barossa - Appellation at the Louise should be it!

We ate here last night. What a superb experience. Not only was every single course magnificent, but they flowed from one dish to the next so smoothly. All beautifully balanced. Rare to find this level attained across the whole meal. The wines matched the food style and service was great too.

has made our trip! Food was incredible but was beat by the fantastic service (Sean made our night)! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice dinner in the Barossa :)

Our visit to the Barossa valley wouldn't seem complete without trying the big dog in the area. Luckily we got a reservation easily and began with some excellent cocktails on the veranda overlooking the vineyards and valley. After being seated we decided to order a la carte rather than Prix fix. The prawns and fois gras was stellar however the lamb main course was forgettable.

Very calm and relaxed mood restaurant with a great view. Really enjoyed the food and was able to accommodate my vegan diet. Wine matching is a must as it accompanies the flavors of the food so well. Very attentive and professional staff.

If you want fine dining, this is the place to do it in the Barossa.
