Gilbert's Fresh Market

Gilbert is good. I come here twice a week for lunch. Roast beef with potatoes, pumpkin and gravy is my absolute favourite. Meatballs with pasta sauce and cheese is great too. Just need to mix them with pasta and it's meal for two. Also love the sausage roll.

The cafe next door Charlie's is fab. It has delicious cheese burger sausage roll.

some of the produce are very fresh. they make their own house brand ice cream. pretty wide range of hot deli food

I love the Hilton Gilbert's. They're stocked with amazing and delicious gourmet treats, an amazing deli and incredible cheese range, but look past that and you'll find some of the best meat deals in the area and incredible and largely affordable produce. (Puts the produce section of the Coles over the road to shame and reminds me what real vegetables taste like!) If you shop carefully you can come away with some great deals.

Gilbert lives up to his expectation of 'fresh'. Yesterday, I walked in to buy lettuce, and it was fresh. The hot foods are available at 8 AM. They all looked freshly cooked to me. Another place to take away the hot foods with three different sizes of containers. Lots of choices. Good!

Local Fresh Market in replacement to the old HILTON FRESH. Delivering the good quality fresh foods, fruits &veggies.

A great market. A good variety of fruits and vegetables, fresh and with a very good quality. They are well stocked with sauces, pasta and other pantry staples. The deli is mostly stocked with cold meats.

High quality fresh produce, great meat section and nice range of ready meals at the deli counter.

Love Gilbert's, great food very gourmet offerings. A little pricier than an IGA, but it is definitely worth it. Great staff too, always friendly.

Haven't been here since the old days when it was Hilton Fresh - where I felt the quality of the produce was not up to scratch. I'm pleasantly surprised that the shop now is clean, well organised and has great produce. Having fresh baked goods here is a big plus. Quite a decent dairy section.

I'll keep shopping here as it seems like the produce is more current than at supermarkets.

Great Deli with different cold meat, pre cooked food. And very tasty fresh made ice cream that Gilberts make themselves great selection.

Really like this place. Excellent range of good quality fruit and veg, meat, drinks, including delicatessen and dry goods etc. Well set out and lovely and clean and fresh. Always find something different here and their Lamb Kofta kebabs in the fresh meat section are the same quality and taste as I used to make at home (before I found them here).

Update- I’m conflicted. I want to tell you to try the in-house baked sourdough loaf. It is so delicious but I want to keep it all to myself 😂

Gilbert's home made Apple strudels with their home made caramel icecream is to die for!!
There's so much love in the food and produce in that place...such high quality. Their avocados are the creamiest of avocados!

Great selection of foods, fresh, homemade and not the normal ranges you find else where. 100% worth a visit if in the area.
Cooked items were lovely, pies delicious, range of hams great, and many, many other items that are very hard not to buy.

I've been keeping this place a secret - so I can get what I want there, and it isn't all shopped out, by other people. Ah well - now that I'm cornered, I'll have to tell it as it is. I used to buy my fruit & veggies at the local farmers' market, until the COVID shutdown last year put an end to that. So I decided to try Gilberts. And I'm absolute hooked on the place. They have EVERYTHING I want, in the way of fruit & veggies - all well chosen, and supporting local WA growers wherever possible.

And an interesting range of cheeses - jams - condiments - nuts - pasta. All sorts of things! Small goods, and a range of chicken & meat.

And the staff are delightful.

We do almost all our grocery shop here. Fruit & Veg is brilliant. Butchered meat & dairy range good too. It's easy to do a big shop or duck in for just a few things. I love that they encourage you to bring your own bags or use boxes too. We come from SA and are used to bringing our own reusable bags 🤗
