This historic site is a beautiful spot for free camping. There's tonnes of space available, and mountains all around.

The lawn and facilities are well maintained, with toilets and water available (unsure if it's drinkable). There's a small lookout up a hill, but the dirt road is rutted out and may not be suitable for 2WD vehicles depending on the weather.

2WD vehicles should be fine getting into the site when the weather is dry. You may want to take it slow as the roads are narrow and there are plenty of kangaroos and other wildlife around.

Just beautiful step back in time.
We were privileged to have the place to ourselves. Very peaceful, historical place. Some regular campers really look after the place. You must too, take baking soda or loo rolls to leave. Composting toilet, remember to clean as you leave. Take your rubbish ⛺We have to keep these type of sites well maintained. Thank you Mt Britton 🙏🏻♥

Well worth a visit with plenty of history to take in. Displays, information, and well maintained areas to explore. The background scenery is exceptional.

Such an amazing free camp!! The views are just gorgeous and there's enough room for everyone. The pieces of history are really interesting and fun to wander through. There are 2 new flushing toilets and non-drinking water available. Great spot for exploring or doing a little bit of 4x4.

Fantastic place to camp. Great history that is signposted. Fossic for gold, walk in the hills, listen to the birds and enjoy the peace and quiet. Will return.
