My air con now works. I was relieved to be told it was due to a faulty relay. Five stars, because I just know if I'd taken it to any of the big chains, they'd have replaced the compressor/condenser/rear brakes, or at least said they had, and bent me over accordingly. Steve(?) is an affable guy, and it's a good feeling to have found a decent mechanic. As an added bonus, it's within walking distance!

Petrotechnics did an excellent service on my car recently and gave a detailed report on what they did. They picked up a bunch of stuff that had never been done despite being serviced elsewhere regularly ie. the cabin filter looked like it had never been changed since new. Had a good chat with one of the owners and he explained everything including alerting me to a couple of small issues that would need looking at next time. Honest, straightforward and obviously know what they are doing. Recommended.

Steve and his staff are very friendly, approachable people. They always explain what work is required on my vehicle and let me know of the cost before proceeding with the work. I was lucky to have them recommended to me by a friend , I now take all of my vehicles there knowing that I wont be ripped off, like I have in the past by other mechanics. I had my work ute repaired there yesterday and walked away pleasantly surprised at the bill. How often does that happen when you get you car repaired. ???

Great service, personal and honest! They are very thorough with servicing our vehicles. They give a detailed report and price is much better than the dealerships in our area. Can't fault Petrotecnics and thank them for looking after us.

I've been a Petro Technics customer for over 20 years. Malcolm and Steve are the most conscientious mechanics I have ever come across. Twenty-two years ago they solved a car problem for me that no one else (including the car dealerships) seemed to be able to solve. I've been coming back ever since.

Malcolm and Steve tell it as it is. They are scrupulously honest and I trust them to fix whatever it is they say needs to be fixed. In fact, I trust these guys so completely that I continue to take my vehicle to them, even though I live about 25 km away.

Petro Technics Bosch Car Service has been looking after all my cars since the breakdown of my Holden VL Commodore in the late 80's. This is when I had the honour of meeting Mr Malcolm Smith who was working in a work space just next door to where he is now in Laurence Road Walliston.
I cannot say enough about this gentleman and his approach and application in his kind, thoughtful and friendly mannerism, with a sence of humour to go with it. Regarding his mechanical background and knowledge, well, he is efficient, proficient and professionally equipped to satisfy the most fastidious customer. I can and will say in all honesty that my family and I are ever so thankful for the kind and marvelous service Petro Technics has given us over the years, servicing all my cars and even my boat trailer. In over thirty years of friendly and professional service now with son Steve is at the Helm( leads by example) with a fantastic degree of up to date mechanical qualifications, ensures him and his team deliver with best practice, friendly, curtious service with focus on customer satisfaction. This is a paramount work ethic thats obviously seen. Not forgetting sister Louise who attends to the secretarial aspect of this amazing family business concern.
