Tsunami Izakaya & Teppanyaki Bar

The food here is simply divine. We enjoyed every dish and we getting jealous of the other impressive meals in sizzling pots and on hot rocks to other tables. Each room has wonderful atmosphere and the service is wonderful. Very cool to see a sushi chef in action in the back dining room too.

Amazing first time here!!! We went with the deluxe 7 course teppanyaki each course was cooked to perfection with flavours and textures that blew me and my brothers mind. Staff and service were great. Special shout out to chef Jay!! You the man brother 🙌🏾

My partner and I came here for a date night. The service we received from all staff was terrific! Food was delicious! We were very impressed and happy with our entire night. Highly recommend. Thank you for one of the best nights we’ve had out in a long night. We had Teppanyaki, 8 course. Every dish was Devine for our taste buds! And the performance was great too. Couldn’t fault them at all.

Amazing! The staff were so lovely and attentive. The food was one of the best meals out my partner and I have had out in a very long time, definitely recommend trying as many of the share plates as you can! The dessert sampler is a must too.

The ambiance was elegant and welcoming, setting the perfect mood for the evening. We indulged in a fantastic teppanyaki feast, and the skilled chefs put on a mesmerising culinary show. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The variety of dishes offered something for every palate, and the quality was exceptional. The Manager Louis & staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing our overall dining experience. I highly recommend Tsunami Izakaya & Teppanyaki Bar for a special night out with friends or loved ones. It's a place where luxury, great company, and exquisite food come together seamlessly.

We love this place and have been here so many times now . The food is supreme just melts in your mouth, one of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth. I can’t fault this restaurant in any way. The quality, the freshness, the chefs , the wait staff and the atmosphere are all prime. It is a high end restaurant but with everything taken to account well worth any $ spent here. Not to mention a superb collection of different Sake to try as well ! The deserts are a must to finish the night off.

Had a dinner function here and the atmosphere was amazing. Staff is accompanied, I highly recommend booking the back garden with the fairy lights! Food was good! We got the sharing course menu no. 2. I really enjoyed a few dishes especially the entrees, the highlight was the beef tataki and Tempura prawn/veges - one of the best I’ve had in Perth! Will be back to try their Teppanyaki sometime!

Love the ambience of this place, and love that they have such an extensive menu so there’s always something new to try each time I visit. Highlight was the seafood noodle soup 🍜👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Not dog friendly from what I can tell, but that doesn’t matter as I’d still come back regardless! 😊

Ordered via Uber Eats the Agadashi Tofu, Suki Udon (Vegan), Vegetable sushi rolls, Tempura vegetables and spring rolls. It was all delicious especially the Udon and Tofu dishes which were really flavourful. All meals were hot and fresh on delivery.

We had been to the sushi bar a couple times and absolutely loved it and this time we went to the Teppanyaki bar which was absolutely a fantastic experience. All the food was delicious highly recommend!

I can't believe I have waited so long to try this place. I went for Teppanyaki on Friday night and it was such a great experience.

Firstly the restaurant is beautifully set out and being able to watch the food being cooked in front of you is such a cool experience.

We had a watermelon spritz (Japanese cocktail) and a Japanese stout. I love the range and focus on offering Japanese drinks.

I couldn't fault the steak and seafood. The meats were cooked to perfection. The portion size was great too we were so full by the end of our meal.

The chefs and waiter were lovely and attentive. I think this is a great place for special occassions but would gladly come back just for some amazing Japanese food.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner here. Chef is good and creative. Standard of food is exceptional. Totally recommended. Their selection of sake is also huge.

My wife and I had our wedding here. The venue communicated clearly with us, were accommodating to our requests, and were prompt with their responses. The wedding food was absolutely wonderful. We would gladly recommend Tsunami to others for a wedding venue - the Ripple and Garden both look amazing during the evening. A big thank you from myself and my wife to Tsunami and the staff!

What a place. My favourite dish was the seafood miso nabe. It's winter, so my son requested hot food when I dragged him into coming with me for a second time. Next time we eat sushi n sashimi. Loved my honey ninja mocktail too. We don't drink alcohol so mocktail that's light on sugar and as easy to knock back as a g&t is very welcome. Amazing staff working hard to keep up with a big crowd.

We went to Tsunami Izakaya & Teppanyaki Bar for my birthday and it was great. Hubby surprised me. I thought it was a regular restaurant, and then we walked into The Room where the magic happens. The back room is well decorated with many sake bottles along the wall with the lighting coming from behind. Wow effect guaranteed. Our chef was very sweet and entertained us so much with his cooking skills. I wished I'd taken more pictures of the food but I was so excited that I devored my food straight away. We both took the Wagyu beef and sea food mix. The Wagyu was a real delight, melting in the mouth and the sea food was fresh and juicy. The staff are so friendly and welcoming that I'd definitely recommend trying this place out for a special occasion.

I can't believe how often I have driven past the innocuous frontage before stopping in. Fantastic service, delicious meal. The yuzu cocktails were so yummy. Comfortable surroundings. The separate teppanyaki area looked excellent, and their outdoor area was magical.

Delicious food and fast service, staff are very friendly and mostly attentive. We ordered an entree, mains, and dessert, with cocktails and beer as our drinks.

Food came out nice and hot, beef was extremely tender and juicy. The tempura could have been hotter as it came out lukewarm.

The restaurant itself was very loud but still enjoyable, it did quieten down a lot towards the end.

Next time we will definitely try the sashimi and sushi dishes and see how they compare with sushi places that I love
