Came for lunch. Nice setting and location. Well priced and good portions. Guy behind bar was really nice. Will be back

Food was great, fresh and came out quickly. They wouldn't make any cocktails even though they had the menu out as they said it's not added in their system yet. They should have removed it from menu or simply charged people something equivalent in price otherwise good

This review is about the pub, never been/stayed at the hotel. I was meant to write this review few months ago when we were locals.

I want to quickly highlight that the food is good and that the portions are generous. However the most remarkable thing about the place is its staff. I have known this place for few years now and back in the day some of the staff was careless and rude, not anymore.

I want to mention Rachel who unfortunately is not working there anymore but she was really a rock star, so welcoming and had warm manners with all the clients. My family and I have missed her since she left.

Now, back to the present, I want to praise the manager, Adrian who will never spare a smile or any willingness to serve you in the most helpful way. He's always there, sometimes this place gets very busy but to him it just doesn't matter, he will always give you his best, even at the end of a long busy day. I personally find that in WA the service is not that great, is not easy to find clerks that will go that extra mile to help you. Well this young fella makes a great difference and that is truly extraordinary. There are also some runners, middle age women who work also very hard.

For me, having worked in a fast food restaurant, a three star Michelin restaurant and everything in between, how the employees work and try their best is of great importance.

We always come back to places where this human factor is present.

Took mum for a drive to Dwellingup on Friday. After a lovely drive we stopped into the Dwellingup pub for lunch. We sat outside on the verandah which was lovely. Our meals were yummy. Mum often orders salmon coz it's her favourite. At the end of her meal she said it was the nicest salmon she has ever eaten!! We often go out for lunch so that's saying something. She said it was cooked perfectly and was so tender. 👍♥

Big thanks to Sophie, who made sure we didn't starve. Kitchen closed early much to our surprise and we were starving!

Excellent! Fantastic food served promptly, friendly staff, clean and character filled facilities. The portions were massive! Highly recommend the beef and Guinness pie, chicken parmigiana and lamb shank. Looking forward to going back in the near future.

Great little country pub. Have been here many times, weekends when busy as, and week days too. Always a consistently good feed and comparably priced with all the surrounding pubs in the Peel area. Top quality loccally sourced produce used. I always find it interesting when people give bad reviews and get there facts wrong, like the chef critiquing the oil they use...some people just have to winge about something. Great effort all the time Dwellingup Hotel.

Great place for dinner. We stopped here for dinner and so glad that we did! We had the lamb shank and pumpkin feta salad and they were both great! Nice setup, nice atmosphere, enjoyed sitting outside.

A very nice pub with pool and great staff. We had a great time!!

Only stopped for toilet facilities due to a major accident detour, however the staff were welcoming and didn't refuse my son and I the use even though we weren't purchasing anything. Fabulous beer garden area and great inside bar area. Thanks guys. We'll stop in longer next time.

I just love a good steak Sanga, and this was very good

We strolled into the pub Saturday 5pm after a snooze at the Dwellingup caravan park.
We've been riding the trails round Dwellingup because it's a great place.
We ordered 2.ciders on the tap. They were cold and refreshing.
It was 5.15 pm.and a staff member came to our table in the bar area.
We asked what time the kitchen opens and he said we can place our order even though it wasn't 5.30pm yet.
We ordered 2 lamb shanks and they arrived within 10 mins.
Now that was quick service and all the staff appear happy to be here.
What an improvement on our visit here 2 mths ago.
Well done management on your staff.
Looking to coming back for years to come.

Great pub for a catch up. Close enough to Perth for an afternoon drive or plenty of accommodation choices. Lots of different areas to sit. Food was great. Servings were huge. Wait staff were very friendly.

Beyond impressed by this beautiful pub, and their wonderful staff. From the lovely Tam who helped us with booking our room as we moved into the pub after a cabin in the caravan park, to the funny and welcoming and kind bar staff who where utterly charming, led by an expert manager in Desmond (I think, he gave us his name as we where leaving and he was serving an army of people that arrived with no booking) The food was truly some of the best pub food I’ve ever eaten, dietary requirements where met with ease, and the serving sizes where great. Prices incredibly reasonable, to the point that it’s worthwhile heading down to from Perth, even if it’s just for lunch. The motel room was lovely, car parking right out front, impeccably clean, with good amenities. Highly highly recommend. Well worth a visit. Dwellingup is such a charming little town, we fell in love. It saddens me to see reviews about staff, people would be surprised how incredibly hard it is to get and keep good staff in the country, and when huge bus loads rock up no booking and no notice on a Sunday night, these guys rocked it. ❤

Traditional country Aussie pub with all the trimmings. Excellent menu with generous portions. Cold beer and sodas. I highly recommend it after a gruelling day of riding !
