Mexican Kitchen

The best place for Mexican food, drinks and vibes! The interiors are sooo much fun, we actually felt like we'd stepped into Mexico City. The staff is extremely friendly. We had yummy margaritas, tacos and burrito bowls. Lovely place to sit in the sun in the summer and cosy basement seating for the not-so-sunny days. Must visit!

Had a mid week dinner here, great portion sizes with affordable prices.

The nachos were a little dry, not much salsa and all the steak was at the bottom stuck to the plate
The servers were lovely but could have been more attentive- Not one staff came to the table after last plate came, so didn't ask how everything was and did not ask if we needed more drinks

Overall I did enjoy the experience and I'd love to try it again
The Chicken Fajitas and $14 Spicy Marg saved it (would of loved another if the waitress came back)

Beautiful decor

Saturday night sipping margaritas, eating tasty tacos and nachos! Great spot for people watching and the service is excellent.

Excellent service! Great atmosphere and good food. Love the colourful decor. The downstairs area is oozing with atmosphere! Food came out very fast. Waiter’s were friendly and prompt.

Had the Beef and Chicken Soft Shell Tacos and the Jalapeno Poppers. The tacos were fresh, with light cheese and tomato to balance the flavours. The slow cooked beef was delicious, even had a few good chunks in there. The poppers were also amazing... couldn't get enough of it. Top quality food and service from this joint.

On a busy morning, we were given a friendly greeting, and a great table. Our margaritas arrived quickly, and a ripper plate of nachos followed. We can't wait to eat here again!

Great food, delicious drinks, amazing Tequila selection, good price, accommodating staff.
The ladies bathroom wasn't the biggest or kept in a clean state but wasn't the worst I've seen.
Not disabled friendly - as the toilets are down 2 flights of stairs.

I took the girls for shopping and brunch in Fremantle. But we couldn't decide which cafe or restaurant to go to on the cappuccino strip ??
We decided on the 'Mexican Kitchen'..
and we're delighted by the colorful decor and the fresh Mexican cuisine.
Because of a staff shortage during the pandemic, we were encouraged to order by their app. I thought this may slow things up, but the meals came out very quickly. Try it!!

This dining experience is awesome. The physical openess (huge windows wide open), decor and friendly freo vibe and the food is glorious. Don't think I'd have the poppy's again as I can't handle the heat, but others loved them.

Absolutely fantastic,. brilliant people and delicious food. So glad we were able to visit and have dinner. Best Mexican we have had in some time!

Was absolutley special! Really nice and helpful staff, absolutely beautiful atmosphere, one mean Macho Nachos and last but not least an awesome double flight of Pueblo Viejo and Patron, including a really nice addition of a coffe Patron that was really nice aside from which I also have to mention the Pueblo Viejo Anejo was the best tasting tequila of the night!

Great Margaritas...Got seating areas inside and outside...Had to wait a bit to get a table inside, but was worth it...Colorful artwork inside the restaurant boosts the ambience....Tasty Food...Look out for the deals available on each day!!!

For was great. I am not a vegetarian, but did go for the vege option and was not disappointed. The special inferno sauce got a really good review from the waitress, so we were all looking forward to it arriving, when it did....... No inferno. The fire brigade must put it out. Not even smoking embers 😂🔥. Anyway the food and staff were great. Easy spot and you can eat upstairs or downstairs, but does get crowded, I guess I know why.
