The lady who runs the shop is so nice I have never had a bad experience!! The food is super good and it's pretty cheap too. You can eat there or you can take it to go. Recommended 100%

Couldn't wait to start and forgotten to take photos first. It's delicious, superbly value for money, and the taste is quite authentic.
For the low price of $5 per main, I think it's very worthwhile and I now know where to go to for my quick fix for Asian cuisine.
The photos are for fish teriyaki and curry beef. Two thumbs up!

Chef Jason G is the best chef in Perth. I wasn’t surprised when I found out that the G in his name stood for god of cooking. The auntie is also very lovely. Best place to eat in Perth by far 👍 this place is the reason why I passed my exams

If you're a student at UWA, you need to know this place exists. I've tried their entire menu now and for $6 a meal it's perfect for a student on a budget that still wants fantastic food. The couple that runs the place are so lovely and I'm greeted with a warm welcome every time. I'm thankful this place exists and I'm going to continue getting lunch for a long time

Always ask for chef Jason G if you want the special sauce and extra meat. He always makes your dish fresh!

If you see how chef Jason cooks, your mouth won't be the only thing that gets wet. Also, always remember to ask for the special sauce.

Chef and co-owner Jason was extremly helpful in helping me choose a dish. I am a vegetarian so Jason G was able to help me make a dish with his signatural special sauce on top. Great service will be back

Always my first take away option after lectures.
$5 with 1/4 boneless chicken and steamed rice its the best comparing all others on this road.
Packed neatly and food not so oily, been eating it since 2 years. Budget meal.

Dishes are just $6 (as of this review time) so it is a great deal to get some cheap food. But the taste is also pretty decent - bargain.

Pocket-friendly place, price hasn't changed at all compared to the many years ago when I used to frequent this place as a uni student. Food is simple & filling plus the owners are also very friendly.

I actually died at birth but chef Jason went back in time and saved me. Thanks to chef Jason I'm here posting this and my dear mother was spared years of therapy. chef Jason thank you for altering the very fabric of existence and giving me a life to live, congratulations!

Wouldn't say it's "healthy" food. But it's cheap (like you could spend $5 (cash) on lunch here), very quick to get served, and tastes fine.
Family seems to run it, suuuper friendly and chatty and they seem to know their regulars :) a cheerful place!

Owners May & Ted offer delicious food from chicken rice, nasi lemak, noodles with chicken, teriyaki fish, etc at $5 n $5.50. Regulars ( some are there 5 -6 days a week) are all very friendly.
I am there at least 3 times a week.

You really can't fault lunch when it costs $4.50. I had a takeaway container with hainanese chicken (and rice), there were other containers of nasi lemak, dry noodles and pork (I think?), and a few other things.
The nasi lemak doesn't have peanuts, the lady explained that their food is more adapted to the local tastes, because so many people didn't like peanuts, and allergies made it not worthwhile either. I do love peanuts with nasi lemak, but again, it's $4.50, who cares! Very friendly service too.

Update! G’fun translates to : G = chicken & fun = rice.
This people is the originally “Chilliz” chicken rice that was in Waterford/Karawara. I say this because someone tried to tell me that Chilliz in Nedlands is. 👍

So glad I found this place. They use to be in Karawara and I lived off this chicken rice. Only $4.50!!☺☺☺👌👌👌👍👍👍

One time I was in line and really
had to go to the bathroom due to severe
incontinence and Jason stabbed and killed the three customers in front of me to ring me up super quickly so I could get to the bathroom in time! A true hero! Thank you chef Jason!
