It doesn’t get much more ‘family restaurant’ than this 🍝 🇮🇹

A simple restaurant inside, hits you with delicious Italian food, and warm, prompt service. I don’t think the menu has changed much over the year, and why should it. Italian food has been set in stone for some time now, and Capri do it very very well. One of our friends said that they cannot wait to return, to try something else on the menu - and that in itself, is the pinnacle of compliments.

There’s not much in the way of typical atmosphere, but would Nonna have music playing when you are at her place for lunch/dinner? I think not. Capri try to keep it as authentic as possible.

The simplicity is romantic. They offer BYO (with a small corkage), so you can enjoy a cold beer, or red wine with your meal. Capri has been there for years, and I hope it stays for many more to come. It is a great little treasure in the heart of Fremantle.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Perth, Capri has been there for years, they have the best pasta, love their Spaghetti 🍝 marinara and Ravioli, great dessert 🍨 too. We have been there several times, never disappointed. They are always busy, best to book. Friendly services.

feels like eating at an italian grandma home.. from the food, hospitality, and vibes. Totally recommend if you visit Fremantle.

The seafood could not be more fresh, and the pasta was AMAZING. Free soup was a banger as well!

If Capri restaurant isn't on your must try asap list it should be now, we highly recommend it. It's in our top 3 best Italian restaurants in Perth. Came in with low expectations and left amazed and happy. Great atmosphere, it felt really homey, the staff were very friendly, the service was amazing and the food was to die for. The minestrone soup was a great start and very hearty, the #bruschetta was just your average bruschetta but the tomato was in bigger chunks and a fair bit of it, the spinach ravioli was the best, I absolutely loved the sauce, the mushroom wasn't to overpowering, the base of the lemon tart was a bit on the abit on the dry side but the lemon curd made up for it and the tiramisu was definitely made in house and had a strong coffee flavour which I love. Everything worked together. Also when you usually get a salad at restaurants it's from a packet but my husbands wasn't, it was literally made in house.

Visit Capri pretty much every month or two, great price and value of the meals, so far I haven't tried any other dishes instead of the seafood marinara...It's my favorite!!!

Excellent restaurant, one of my faves for the past couple of decades. Love love love the pork. Great friendly family vibe. Free soup and bread with main meals. Excellent atmosphere. Have to be early if you want to get a walk-in table. Kids drawing supplies provided

Beautifully cooked and presented Italian fare in an unpretentious atmosphere. Be sure to book. My favourite is the seafood skewers and a side of spinach and ricotta ravioli. It’s BYO, there’s a bottle shop across the road if you didn’t bring something from home. My new favourite restaurant in Freo.

We've always loved the food at Capri, but the young waitress with the long ponytail really made our night! She was one step ahead at all times; we never had an empty water jug (and we went through 4 of them!) She was very bubbly and informative, thank you for your great service!

Traditional Italian restaurant, great food, unhurried but good service. It's kept busy by regular customers so you may need to book. Don't be put off by the old style shop front, it will be worth it.

A quaint, cosy Italian restaurant in Fremantle that served us wonderful, tasty and simple food. It's great that soup and bread comes complimentary with your main meal which was delicious.

My partner and I ordered a bruschetta, napoletana dish and a creamy pork dish with a pesto salad. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to eat our mains as we were catching a movie, but the staff were so kind to pack our mains into takeaway containers and provide us with wooden cutlery. When we were able to eat the mains later, the food was still amazing and the pork was tender. The napoletana sauce was simple but was clearly home made and had a lot of depth in the flavour. It would have been exceptional to eat them when they were fresh.

This is a terrific restaurant that is family-run, and you can tell with the warm service and clear passion and skill put into the quality of the dishes despite how busy the place is. Thanks so much for the lovely experience ☺

Found this restaurant on google. The reviews certainly represent how special this restaurant is. It is like an original nonna’s Italian eatery. Food excellent, staff friendly and BYO. Thank you all Capri for keeping a 70year family restaurant timeless and still well worth a visit.

The most marvellous, traditional, Italian restaurant. Stunning food, great service and a wonderful ambience. BYO so you can bring your preferred wine. Absolutely love this place

Extremely disappointed. Came to Fremantle wanting to have lunch with my best friend to find out they are not open. Nothing will happen and one day I will come again and have lunch until then ☹
