I totally recommend to come here if you have responsibility as aduld. Christina and Bobby is the best house owner for me, I have many experience of accommodation around Australia. More than 4place, I think here is cleanest house and kindly owner. They'll help a lot and nice to you If you are honest and have responsibility. I saw many comment about bad things, I guess cuz they couldn't keep house rules / too easygoing / first time to work in farm or something not nice to owner. Yes, here have many rules, after 8:30pm No cook, after 10:00pm No shower and big noise, but it all for worker and neighbor, many worker must to sleep early and wake up early. And we must to clean up the kitchen but she's cleaning EVERYDAY everywhere many time to keep clean house. That's why after we come back home always clean and feel comfortable. That's all rules for them also for us. And If you guys broke something or lost bond return receipt or didn't give them notice, of course no return bond. It's all farm is same rule. Before complain here, think about what you did. May be you did something to not get back money. And they try hard to looking for job for us, sometime we'll get waiting, but it's normally cuz fruits is not automatic by machine. Other farm VIC or QLD had more long waiting and not good money. She'll give you good job, Just take it and work!! If you wanna leave, just let them notice then leave. I really like here and god many great friends, actually almost Asian (Japanese, Chinese, Taiwan, Korean), but still can improve English as well. I came back here this year, If I got third visa diffinity I'll came back :) Thank you Christina and Bobby!!

I advise everybody to avoid this place. First of all Christina (the owner) will charge you a 'work bond'. Despite the fact that it is completely illegal, she will use your normal bond (e.g. for damages or unpaid rent) to keep you in her place. If she finds you a job and you want to leave she will keep your 160 dollars! She has kept the bond of several people before.. Secondly it just is not a Nice place to stay. There are so many stupid rules (no cooking allowed after 8.30 pm, no shower after 10 pm) and frankly Christina is just not a nice person! Her husband Bobby can become very agressive and intimidating. Last of all there are cameras inside the house, which she checks when somebody forgot his plate on the stove or just a bottle of wine on the counter. This place can not be found on hostelworld and on facebook she deletes all negative comments. Via this way i would like to warn people to not come here. There are better and cheaper options to go to in Donnybrook!

Be careful this working hostel. This hostel owner Christina is not a friendly person. She will NOT give you deposit back in many ways. BE CAREFUL. DON'T COME HERE!!!!! WARM.

This working hostel seems like prison or jail. Christina (the house owner) is NOT friendly.She didn't return my bond $320.I didn't understand why.so I really NOT recommended this accomodation.
