Red Cross Shop Donnybrook

Beautiful OP shop in Donnybrook, the shop itself is in a giant shed so it gives it a really interesting rural town vibe. Helpful and pleasant staff made the deal hunting environment that much better; definitely drop in if you're passing by.

Great new spring bargains now in store.
Have to make way for new stock so clearing winter stock in a sale starting 11/9/2019.

The people shaming the staff/the particular store for pricing need to realise that it's the head office have a budget standard that the stores are required to make. The staff would love to discount some items but simply can't.
Also realise that quite a lot of items there are discarded new clearance stock from clothing stores and the like, and every so often you get high end gear for a bargain price.

Very expensive compared to other op shops in the region. They were even charging RRP on some items.

Left empty handed as I felt the items were extremely overpriced for what they were.

Doesn’t deserve a star. Shame on you Red Cross! Where is the help for people who can’t afford the basics! Donated items going for top dollar! Some people can’t afford to pay $15 for a used item of clothing!
When I brought this up with the lady serving at the front, her response was…. Those people have other avenues! Shame shame shame!

Really putting prices up on brands, might as well buy new or get a better deal on facebook market... $30 for jean, $150 for leather jacket, $20 for basi brand Tshirt...

An opshop for those that don't look at what's in the bank.
