This review is revised based on a subsequent visit to the restaurant.

After contacted by the restaurant manager and a follow up on the issue, we went in for dinner again tonight. Under the new management and new kitchen team, the quality of the food has really improved so much that we enjoyed the food so much. The food was well prepared and presentable (refer to photos), and the quality has improved so much even it was a very busy night today. A very big applause to Sam and her new kitchen team that they are willing to take on the reviews and provide a much better dining experience. Her table service team is also complimented as they would come to check on the customers of their needs from times to times. All the best for Sam and her new teams!

It was a big disappointment on the food. We ordered a medium well done steak and came out with fully welldone and burnt steak. So we brought this up to the staff, who later said on the order, it was stated welldone. So I told her that we definitely ordered medium well done and the lady was kind enough to raise this to the kitchen and got us another portion. To our disappointment (or shock) the new portion was fully well done again and worse as we can see all the black stuff and dirty oil came with the burnt steak (photos removed based on revised review). We have been a number of times and the food was always lovely but this time, it was really a great disappointment on the fools quality and put some doubts on the hygiene of the kitchen. Reflected this to the manager in email but heard nothing.

Its been so long since i have had a delicious steak. This place has the most juicy and well cooked steak i have eaten in years. Welldone to all of you @ Brooklands Tavern! The price is fair, atmosphere is great. Even gave my kids coloring pencils and paper while we waited for our food. An outdoor area for eating also and a decent sized kids playground to the side. I will definately be coming here again many times!!

Excellent customer service, friendly staffs, very generous portion per serve of delicious food, nice atmosphere and convenient location and parking, it's a must to dine in for food lovers 😋 keep up the work guys 👌

I recently hosted a function for 20 people at Brooklands Tavern and was very pleased with everything. I would not hesitate to book another time. We had our own room, were allowed to decorate & have our own music. The food platters were very tasty and the service from all staff was excellent from the start of the booking right through to the end of the function.

Been coming here for quite sometime and they always hit the spot. I would also say service and food quality has been improving.

I had the rump steak special today and the fish and chips. Both dishes were top notch and very well prepared. Steak was generous (300g), thick and cooked to perfection. Fish also had lovely batter and moist flesh. Chips and salad/vegs are good.

Staff were friendly and happy to help. Though we just ordered using the web ordering system. Cake selection was great but I had to reserve my calorie for another day :)

Thanks for a lovely lunch today! The food was gorgeous, big portions and really tasty! The staff were very friendly too especially the chatty redhead at the bar - We will definitely be back 😁

Great presentation & taste of food, service by staff was exceptional. Good drink variety. Heaps of parking, be sure to book ahead as bistro fills up quickly.

Lovely place to have a bite to eat or a nice beverage. Also has a kids play area. The service was fast and friendly and you can order from your table. All of our food ordered was fresh and tasty and they have a good variety at reasonable prices. The bar was very busy but kept flowing and there are lots of TVs showing sports. Very happy with our visit.

Xmas Lunch Today was Lovely. Our Booking a was for 8 Adults, 2 Children. Food , Service, & Atmosphere was Excellent. Staff very friendly. I would especially like to say thank you to Trent. Very helpful young Man.

Christmas day lunch with Mum. Can not fault it. Lovely 3 course menu choices. Great service, staff were great. Good atmosphere, venue tastefully decorated.

Went there for a pub meal. No reservation but were able to choose good table. Ordered 3 of Tuesdays rump steak special, 1 with half rack pork ribs. All 3 steaks was a hit. Juicey and cooked to perfection. Vegetables was amazing. And of course now have VB on tap. Ordered a take away pork ribs after dinner and didn't have to wait long! One of the best pub meal around area. Atmosphere was pretty good with a varied sports on multiple TV's

One of the best Pub meal in the area. From service to quality of food - everything is outstanding. I will definitely keep on coming back. Their Parmy night special is no 1 in Perth with so many delicious options of various types of Parmy.
