Always a great meal!
Went there with a friend for dinner. Sat out on the beer garden at the back, was just gorgeous.
We both got the Chicken and Bacon burger, I requested no BBQ sauce. No issues. Cane out in good time and was absolutely delicious!

Amazing place to go for big events. The best place I've been to for food, the staff, were more than welcoming and patient with everyone at the table. Whoever own this pub needs recognition because the food and system that they have going is brilliant. 17 people were at our table, and not one person had an issue with the food. Everyone left the plates clean. All fresh homemade food and if you are new to Australia this place ligit has the best calamari in the country. ❤ It's an absolutely amazing place to eat. If I could give the hotel 10 stars for their pub food, service and atmosphere I would. Thank you so much for your brilliant work, guys!

Excellent meals and service; the meals were fantastic sizes more than what we could eat and all very reasonably priced, the bar and service staff were friendly and very helpful.

Very nice meal, steaks were so tender and dishes were presented well. Would be nice to see some lettuce in the salads.

Great hotel and pub/restaurant. Beds were comfy, bathroom was clean and food was fantastic. The staff were great apart from one older man that was working, he didn't seem all that interested in service. The only other complaint would be the noise, but it's too be expected sleeping above a pub and being on the main street in town. Otherwise, it was a great place for an overnight stay. Also Friday nights are chook raffle night! Great fun.

Service was wonderful, polite and very helpful. The meals were prompt and excellent no complaints, very delicious. We loved the atmosphere and will promise to come back, fabulous local pub. Beer at great price too ! Location offers loads of parking, a beer garden and large grassed area,. There are disability facilities that made my partners life easier. So....Thank you for a memorable time.

Top place for a feed! The steak was amazing!

Had a lovely overnighter with my daughter. Steak cooked perfectly, hotel lovely and clean. Drinks at the bar were lovely. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room great, comfortable. Bit different not having a bathroom in our room but was so clean in the sharing bathroom.
Will be back.

Nice local country pub that does nice country pub food at reasonable prices. There’s a few screens for watching sport, cold beer on tap, and a nice outdoor area.

Here you will find Country hospitality at its finest, The team at the donnybrook Hotel just make you feel so welcome. We stayed for the night in the accommodation which was clean & very comfortable.
The service behind the bar from Mel, Kelly & George was fabulous. We also had dinner in the bistro, my steak was cooked to medium rare perfection by Mark, such great value too.
We enjoyed the local band Light House who were seriously good. There is nothing we can fault and we would definitely return.

We had a large party on Sunday lunch could not have been more happy, everyone had something different all came out together and was delicious.
Would have not problems in recommending Donnybrook hotel .

We popped in at 5pm on a Friday only to find that dinner service starts at 6pm. Never mind…the lovely wait person at the bar found us a table (because we hadn’t booked) and we enjoyed some drinks until the kitchen opened. Hubby’s beef schnitzel was “the bomb” (so he said) - delicious beef, crispy crumb coating, perfectly cooked chips, and pepper sauce in a small cup on the side.
I had the grilled chicken breast with garlic prawns atop. Yum!! The side salad was also delicious - a lovely little selection of mixed leaves, grated carrot, sliced cucumber, beetroot (!!), and tomatoes.
It was not only the food, but also the service from the young lady behind the bar (who also helped me with my wine selection), that is getting us back there again tonight :-)
Edit: So we went back and the food was just as good. This time I had the scotch fillet, and hubby had the chicken schnitzel. Both were fantastic!!

We normally go to our local pub but today it was unfortunately closed so we had heard the Donnybrook Hotel was worth a visit recently opened for meals. What a pleasant surprise. It was packed and we were lucky to get a table. We both ordered a steak burger $20. It only took about 15 mins to come out. A huge burger with a very well cooked steak, nice and tender, egg, cheese, salad and a yummy sauce. Every bit as good as our local. Highly recommended

Fantastic country Pub to stay in. Freshly renovated rooms, very comfortable, super friendly staff, and right in the middle of town. They cook a pretty decent feed, with a varied menu, with lots of options (unusual for a pub). Literally a stone's throw away from the Apple Play Park and Train heritage center.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay here over the WA Day long weekend. The room was clean and comfy with reverse cycle aircon, extra blankets, free wifi and a modern TV. We had dinner there as well - fab parmi and a perfect steak each with salad and chips. The service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again. Delightful!
