Europcar Port Lincoln Airport

Our car broke down outside of Port Lincoln and ended up being transported to the service centre in Adelaide, which left us without transport. Derek at Port Lincoln provided exceptional service by picking us up from town the day we needed a car and taking us to the pick up location at the airport. He found us a suitable vehicle available immediately and was extremely helpful. We were delighted with his professionalism and high level of customer service.

Wonderful pick up and drop off in Port Lincoln. The gentleman at the counter was kind and efficient and the car was great! We will rent again from Europcar!

The branch in Port Lincoln were easy to get along with ,the young girl was very polite and helpful .The car I hired was awesome ,but the company was hard to contact by phone, I tried several times and got no answer .
Other than that I couldn't fault them

I booked a car online and the pick up/drop off process went smoothly. The staff I spoke to were very friendly and accommodating, will use again

Unable to reach customer service desk at time of need!

Avoid at all cost,

Book a pick up at 2:30 pm on Saturday and the pick up station is advertised open from 8am to 8pm.

Arriving at the station at 5pm due to airlines delay and the station is closed. Called and messaged after hours phone for 20+ times with no response.

Customer hotline wouldn't find the station manager and leave them a message and advised us to come back next day at 8am for pick up.

Take a Taxi to hotels and return next day at
8:15am with $90 and find out the station still closed.

Holiday has been totally ruined.

We picked up our car yesterday from Port Lincoln Airport with the car seat that we requested.
Upon installing the car seat I noticed it is labeled October 2012. Car seats in Australia expire after 10 years which means this car seat should not of been used after last October.
I am appalled that you have continued to use this unsafe car seat and feel as though this oversight left my 8 month old baby unsafe in our journey to our accommodation from the airport as we didn’t have another option.
While installing the car seat ourselves as the guy said he was unable to do so for us we found it would not install correctly in the car as the straps were not long enough to reach the anchor point without lifting the child seat off the car seat. This is also super unsafe and against Australian standards. I went to go back to the stall to talk to the guy but he had already packed up and left for the day.

I am extremely disappointed in this and question your approach to child safety. I emailed the company and received the poor response of go back and change it. When I had told them I tried to but no one was there at 3pm on a Friday.

Seems the corporates removed my harsh but fair review, so I’ll post again to warn innocent people

Had a hire car booked and paid for via insurance due to mine off the road for repairs, went to collect it during business hrs and nobody was at the desk, all closed up, instead an employee from another business in the airport walked over and gave me the Keys and and asked for a small deposit, & I went on my merry way, no paperwork of any description at all was given to me then, or at all during the hire period.

Fast forward two weeks later I went to return it all clean and full of fuel etc, and again nobody was at the hire desk it was much the same as when picked it up, gave no thought and dropped keys in the box and left, 24hrs later a whopping $1,500 charge from Europcar appears on my account, but rather unsurprisingly the next week of constant phone calls proved a waste of time as nobody answered the phone or emails sent to this location, fast forward almost three weeks later of being put on hold etc & promises to call me back before I get a response from europcar claiming I signed documents agreeing to pay excess kilometre charge, never received or signed ANY paperwork. Impossible company to deal with and cost me a lot of financial hardship for a few months stealing from me like that, luckily insurance refunded me the charge when they even gave up trying to deal with them.

Avoid this rental company if you don’t want MG ☠

Booked a short holiday. Rocked up to find an empty booth with no contactable personnel. Holiday ruined. Thanks Eurocrap
