Incredible winery!! Super friendly and welcoming staff. Impeccable interior design and fab wines. Bubbles were excellent. Thanks Eva for looking after us.

Very enjoyable, had the red tasting and a platter with brie, salami and bread. The service was very good and we received a lot of info about each bottle we were tasting. The venue is charming and seems to accomplish a country feel while still appearing very modern.

Excellent wine tasting with cheese.
For 3 people we paid 99$ in total, which is good price for such cozy winery.
The staff are friendly and we had such fun talks.
Definitely recommend.

As a sovereign member, I was fortunate enough to be at the cellar door for Popsie, Karrawattas first ever Sparkling release.

A wonderful day of celebration and many glasses of bubbles had by all.

Get in your car and head for the Hills...

A little ways into the Adelaide Hills and you'll find Karrawatta Winery, a boutique cellar door with lots to offer.

After getting to know our wine enthusiast / cellar hand Karan (who is a total legend by the way) and after making our way through their delicious Single Vineyard wine tasting, you'll discover Karrawatta wines are steeped in family history. Because what makes great wine even greater, is when it comes with a great story.

Whilst we relaxed the day away, we also constructed an awesome platter made up of some awesome artisian products.

This place is definitely worth the drive.

Beautiful setting that is new and well designed. Friendly service. Wine tasting is a bit expensive but you’re paying for the atmosphere. Wines are well made but on the more acidic side if you’re into that sort of thing.

Outstanding tasting experience. Staff gave us plenty of time and felt like we were the only group at the winery! Gave us great understanding on wine making process and how it impacts favour of the wine. Strongly recommend.

We were made to feel very welcome and chose the red tasting flight. This cellar door introduced us to the concept of telling us about all 5 wines and leaving us to discover what suited our palettes. Staff were available to answer any questions we had. Attentive but not intrusive 👍. Our cheese board was yummy and just the right amount for a nibble while tasting. It’s an un-rushed tasting experience best enjoyed with good company and conversation as opposed to the sip a few and go on to the next winery. Really like the concept. Relaxed atmosphere with lovely background music and will return to taste the other flights.

Beautiful and scenic location. Had the red tasting and our server was very knowledgeable on the wines they were presenting.
They were happy for us to bring along our dog and provided shaded seating and drinking bowl for her.
Wines and cheese board were fantastic and we will be back for more!

Most beautiful, peaceful winery in SA. Surrounded by gorgeous vineyards and trees, the Karrawatta team has perfectly captured tranquility at their winery. The team is 10/10 amazing, they are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

This is absolutely the place to be if you’re looked for a peaceful moment to sit back in the stillness and enjoy some beautiful wines. Can’t wait to come back.

Went to Karrawatta as part of Adelaide Crush and had “Prawns on the Lawn”. First time and had no idea what to expect. It was marvellous! Food was great, lots of prawns on the main, exceeded expectations of everyone! Wines were also gorgeous and the story behind them well told by the staff. The service was exceptionally good, everyone genuinely cares - there are no fake smiles going on! I’ll be going back very soon!

One of the best wineries for scenery, customer service and quality of wine I have ever experienced. Mark Gilbert is so passionate about his wines, his service was exceptional. Was the best day. Rachael’s customer service was the best experience ever. All the staff made you feel like family, truly the best experience.

Exceptional wines in a stunning setting. Karrawatta is a real hidden gem but is absolutely worth the drive for the stunning views, beautiful cellar door and some of the best wines I have tasted. I recommend doing a tasting and participating in a build your own platter. Truly one of the best cellar door experiences in the Hills (if not anywhere).

The service was impeccable, we were treated like royalty, thanks to Rachel we got tours and had the most memorable experience. The atmosphere was so friendly, warm and inviting. Make way, we are totally becoming regulars.
