Meadows Memorial Hall

Meadows had their yearly Easter fair which had many stalls selling a variety of things including books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, plants as well as a good selection of food and drinks and other miscellaneous ornaments and collectibles. Also the kids can have fairly floss if their parents get talked into it. This year it rained on and off but it didn't deter from the joyful atmosphere.

Visited for Easter fair. Great country environment and local merchandise and produce. Facilities are clean.

The hall was closed so only got to read the interesting story of this historic building. Originally the Kondorapinga Butter Factory circa 1890, rebuilt in 1937 for SA Farmers Union around the original. Housed women and children during the 1939 Black Friday bushfires. After closing in 1967, the town got together to save the building for the community. The hall opened in 1978.

Easter Fair (2019) held there was excellent. Nice old building too. Great to see it from both the inside and outside.

Had a fun time at the annual Easter Fair there! Lots of things to see and good for family and friends, just beware of the traffic.

Boring market

Recently I had car troubles here, now the locals that were working at this hall, instead of asking me what I was doing there or whether I needed assistance, they decided to try and intimidate me aggressively by circling me like vultures, slowly driving by me staring at me like I was doing something wrong. Meanwhile I was freezing cold, in a pickle waiting for some friends to pick me up late at night, I was scared and didn't know what to do. Thank you Meadows, for being such a friendly welcoming town.
