Song Hotel Sydney

Very happy to stay once more at the newly renovated Song hotel with its ideal central location. Great thought has gone into the room design and inclusions. Bed was very comfortable and we found the sheets and towels are high quality too. The breakfast seems to get better and better with the right balance of fruit, cereals hot food and pastries. Even the coffee from the easy to operate machine was good.

Entering reception, the ambience is warm and inviting with the large glass windows letting in lots of natural light. The staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, with lots of natural light thanks to the floor to ceiling windows. The breakfast exceeded expectations, with hot and cold options. Excellent place!

This was such a serendipitous experience! My sister and I were scrambling to find accomodation at the last minute, and found the Song Hotel by chance. We were so impressed that its profits go towards supporting women who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse, and even extended our stay by an extra day. The concierge team couldn't have been more kind and helpful, and even gave us some tips on how to best enjoy the Vivid Sydney light shows happening during our stay. The rooms were clean and bright, and the bathrooms were equipped with both a hair dryer and a straightener. The toiletries provided were great quality, and the linens were fresh. The breakfast every morning was also of great quality, and had long hours so we never missed out due to sleeping in a bit! Would recommend this place to anyone who needs a central place in Sydney, we walked nearly everywhere and had an amazing time.

Has to be 5* based on value and standard/care taken by the team. Very compact rooms but super modern and clean. I didn’t have big hopes for the “free” breakfast but this was easily a $20+ bonus. Good coffee machine and a very decent range of options for a hot or cold breakfast. Not a fan of the iPad check in ‘life admin’ but I’ll likely be back!

My stay at the Song Hotel for 4 nights was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the room service went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Special thanks to the lady who always made sure we had clean towels. I was pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast was included, and it offered a wide variety of options including eggs, sausage, beans, bacon, fruits, bread, and various drinks. I enjoyed breakfast every day of my stay. Additionally, I had dinner at the restaurant where we ordered a burger and pizza accompanied by wine, which was excellent. The hotel was also LGBT friendly and very welcoming. However, I wasn't aware that hotel guests receive a 10% discount, which is mentioned on the keyboard. Overall, I will definitely return when I visit again.

This hotel was one of the cheapest in the area, but the quality of their service is exquisite. They also had a cheaper option for those who needs to bring their cars, plus they have a free buffet breakfast included! I love how clean the room was, and all of the staff we're kind, courteous and understanding! This is a perfect stay for young adults especially because of the decor. Overall, they have great service, a warm and friendly environment, and its worth the price!

My third stay here. Always have friendly, helpful service. The rooms are modern, and always super clean. Lovely buffet breakfast too.
Had the pleasure of meeting Song’s GM today in the lobby. I didn’t know he was the boss, but he took the time to give me a friendly hello. You know the place is good when the boss turns around from a meeting to make a random guest (me in jeans and t shirt) feel welcome. Thanks Song Hotel!

Great location and good value with breakfast included in room rate. Housekeeping was excellent and best I have seen when staying at hotels in this area. Breakfast is ok. During peak periods can be difficult is get a table, but staff do their best. Large tables are always reserved but don’t see anyone there. I suggest a booking block say 30 minutes or open bar area during busy times.

Great value for your money. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our stay for one night and the balcony view was okay and has good breakfast available.

The female Filipina at the front desk at the lobby was very nice to me and my girlfriend was very attentive and helpful and even took a photo of me and my partner together. I forgot to ask her name but thanks for her good service.

Song Hotel is a must if you want budget friendly hotels with good accommodation and service.

It was clean and beautiful! Access was great; 5 to 20 min walk to almost any tourist attraction. Trains are also close by but we didn’t need to use them as we walked everywhere. Breakfast was also amazing! Loved the stay and it exceeded expectations!

The staff were so lovely, happy and just joyous to be around. They really took care in what they did. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious and included within our booking (great value for money)! The only slight fall back (and this is such a minor thing), but the wifi wasn’t great and therefore we had to hotspot our phones to watch TV or use our computers with the Internet. But other than this we loved it, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we stay in Sydney.

Hotel is in the heart of the City very close to everything you need - Chemist Warehouse, 7/11 Convenience Stores, just around the corner from Hyde Park and St.James Park & the Train Station at the end of St. James Park also handy to buses on Elizabeth Street.
Very easy to get around if walking, I always feel safe walking around even at night it's a very metropolitan City with a lot of friendly people.
Paddy's Market is only 15 mins down the road & Darling Harbour a lot of the main Theatre's are close by around the heart of the City where this highly recommended Hotel is.
Fantastic welcoming friendly and pleasant Staff.
Beautiful modern clean & comfortable rooms with a wee balcony, nice to have a chair in my room that I could sit & watch TV the room was a lovely temperature at all time but if it got too hot I could open the balcony door.
Restaurant onsite was a real bonus and offered a hearty buffet breakfast with many choices which is always a great start for your ventures around the City.

Excellent Hotel with helpful staff. Our stay was very comfortable and the included breakfast was a treat with the hard working staff making sure our requirements were always met. It’s conveniently located near the museum station which is only 2 stops to circular quay with trains running at regular intervals. A parking voucher of $25 is provided on checkout . We unloaded outside the hotel and then given instructions to park the car in a secure car park within easy walking distance.
We inadvertently left a mobile phone behind and the cleaning staff gave it to reception so we arranged for a courier to collect and reception were very obliging in overcoming problems we encountered in the pick up.
Will definitely stay here again the next time in Sydney.

Highly recommended place . Clean rooms. Friendly housekeeping staff. They greet us when they saw us. Rooms sizes was bit small may be we book small room. Next time we will try to book other big room. Check in and out was very simple doesn’t take time. We will return soon

-Sound insulation was good (stayed on Anzac day and did not hear the nearby parades)

Overall a pleasant overnight stay in the city.

We had a better stay than anticipated. Room is compact but sufficient space for an overnight stay for two. We had a balcony; access to fresh air is always a plus. Finding in the room along with the basic toiletries / tea and coffee. Was a hair straightener :) Happy Dance. And biscuits.
At check in to be told there was a complimentary hot breakfast was an extra bonus. All encounters with the servce team was polite, helpful and friendly. We will be back. Thank you.

In one word, the stay was great, central - everything is within walking distance - explanation via the Song Hotel desk, really very well explained but also very friendly! Well done guys! Room is very clean - towels were changed and neatly folded every day! Beds were neatly made, sleep nice and quiet! - and safe! Stayed there for 19 days! Wishing you lots of love from the Netherlands!

Song hotel is really value for money.

The location was what was needed. (5 min walk to the museum)

The room was great. Everything felt new. I had a micro queen room which didn't feel cramped and I liked the size of the bathroom/shower (I am a bigger person, and I have had problems with showers being very narrow at other hotels. But I didn't have that problem with Song hotel's bathroom)

The buffet breakfast had a good selection of fresh food.

There were renovations going on in other parts of the hotel, but not once was I bothered by it.

The staff were lovely and handled any enquiries I had.

I also liked that there was a water machine in the hotels foyer that you can use to refill water bottles.

All in all a great stay and I will use Song hotel again.

Very good staff & room. Modern & clean room. Best value for money place to stay. Would definitely recommend to friends & I will be staying here again in the future.

Excellent accommodations in a great spot in town. Well-communicated to different attractions and the airport. Highly recommended for solo travelers that don't want to go out at night and enjoy a good meal at the restaurant. Don't eat late!
