Glen-Forest Tourist Park & Vineyard

Visited here on the 15th Jan 24 and had a great day; family run, not busy, interactive with so many animals, the kids did the maze and we all did golf. Many good memories were made here. But what gets this place 5 stars in particular; the wine was really nice! I’m writing this review from the Barossa valley, where there are many wineries that charge you $20+ just to taste their (cheaper) wine, that still costs $40 or more a bottle. The wine at this zoo was better than all the wine I’ve tasted at this Barossa so far and A LOT cheaper! $60 for 3 bottles!!!??? AMAZING VALUE. We just paid $94 for 2 bottles from a reputable winery in the Barossa and …the wine was better from this Zoo. To all reading this you have to try this wine. Unfortunately it will also make you realise what a rip off the Barossa valley is.

We had the most wonderful few hours here with our little girl. Huge well done to the owners of this place for creating such a beautiful atmosphere with animals you can actually interact with when you have small children. Our 15 month old absolutely loved the kangaroos, lambs, rabbits, and bird Avery! We loved the wine tasting at the end too 🤣 We will happily go back next time we are in Port Lincoln! Thankyou! 🙏

Oh my gosh what an awesome place. We spent such a time getting to know the Animals up close. The girl who was there knew such a lot and was so friendly and helpful. Something for everyone from Wine tasting to put put and segways and meeting the Koalas and the birds. Cant believe I hadn't heard of it before.

Beautiful park. Super worth the visit. The entrance and cafe is beautifully set up and well maintained. Animals are extremely friendly and great for children to meet. Couldn’t believe they have Highland Cows which I am obsessed with! Only wish we could’ve brushed them!

This experience was fantastic.Paige was awesome and very informative. We highly recommend doing the Segway tour.

Had the best morning there this week, October 2021. We went to play Putt Putt, which was fine, an easy course, no real obstacles, but we ended up buying a $2 of animal feed and my daughter (nearly 20) had the best time feeding the animals. The cafe and shop are modern, pristine and well priced and the farm is lovely. There are also Segways and a wooden maze. Good value and the lady who helped us was lovely.

We went in the afternoon when it was quite warm so I think if you go earlier the animals wouldn't be so full from everyone feeding them 😅. They were tired when we went but all in all it was great seeing the animals ànd the birds were great too. The show that the peacock put on was great - that was good timing. We also played mini golf and that was fun too. Good few hours to spend there and the staff were very friendly.

One of the best places that I’ve visited in my life. You can have contact with many kinds of animals, pet and feed most of them. The kangaroos area is a wonderful experience if this is your first time seeing these animals. Besides that, the facility has very good food and drinks, a nice gift shop and a great staff. Highly recommend this place.

Going to the Glen Forest Tourist Park was the best part of hour holiday up to Port Lincoln! The staff were amazing. My son loved every moment of it. As soon as you walk in the Park you are greeted by lovely animals that love attention. It was a better experience then the Adelaide Zoo. Thank you for such an amazing time and experience.

Looking at some old pictures, I visited in 2017, animals are well looked after. It was a relaxing joyful trip

Don't miss this place when you are in Pt Lincoln, great service provided by all the team. The animals were friendly and liked the attention, kids loved all of them. A couple of show ponies (peacocks) around loving the camera. Great value with lots of things to do and should have brought some snags to cook as the BBQ facilities were available. Thanks team, see you another time.

Amazing place. The grand kids loved it, so many animals and the BBQ area was awesome. It was very sheltered. The wine was so good I bought the box...well done guys

Absolutely amazing experience, feeding the kangaroos was lovely. So many cute animals. My favourite part was going into the bird aviary and feeding the birds (make sure you save some seed for them!)

Didnt try the mini golf or Segway but still had a lot of fun.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were amazing and the animals were great interacting with the kids. Make sure you get there early to avoid the crowds and take a bbq lunch there is free facilities to cook on while watching the roos just lay around. They have added a maze as well which wasn’t listed on their website when we went. $8 per person after you’ve been into the park.

Highly recommend a visit.

The opportunity to get up close to so many animals, especially the koalas.
