Sails cafe

Well I couldn't praise this place highly enough. Dave and his wife are wonderful hosts and the meals, well truly delicious and certainly value for money. They also have a Gluten free option. The view on the deck looking out to the water is lovely. A perfect place to sit back, have a drink and a great feed.

Booked ourselves a table for a mother's Day lunch. We found ourselves on a table outside under the sails in the lovely weather with a wonderful live musician playing outside behind us. I had a chicken burger that was so yummy and the rest of the food for the table looked just as good. The staff were very friendly and happy and the sticky date pudding made in house was to delicious.

Excellent fish and chips! Very clean and with friendly staff. A new dining area looked very inviting... next time, we ate our food by the lake.😊

Sails is once again one of my favourite places. With new owners, it has returned to a friendly place for coffee & great food. I enjoyed a delicious seafood basket with my partner the other day. So glad we shared it, there was no way I could have eaten it all on my own, although I would have given it a decent shot. Way too yummy to leave any. Big thumbs up to the new owners for a job very well done :-)

Friendly staff who were happy to make lunch quite early rather than being funny about specific times. Good coffee, great chips and generous bacon and egg roll.

Very friendly, they were closing when we turned up, but they still made us a great coffee . The menu looked good so will go back another day.

Sails at Clayton has to be an Oasis. Our group bought several different meals, and each was was absolutely yummy, beautifully presented and excellent value. Thank you to the Staff. You made our day.

Recently revamped by owners, great hosts, great food and service, small but excellent wine list. Worth the drive, lovely views from deck.

Had Lunch..Garlic prawns with rice and salad. Food was excellent...😋 Friendly service, Clean and neat restaurant with a beautiful view. Will surely visit again😊😊

Had chicken schnitzel for dinner. Was like twice the size I expected and was so juicy. Every bite had me making pleasure noises.
