Clayton Bay Cottage

Highly recommend this property. We have stayed twice and both times the property has remained well maintained and extremely clean. The kitchen contains most gadgets and utensils and the backyard is large and secure with space for dogs to exercise and explore.
The owners are very responsive if an issue should occur.

My wife Darrel and I, and our two dogs, have holidayed at Clayton Bay Cottage for a number of years now. Why do we come back? Well, a spacious main living area with a grand view, full amenities (updated and renovated), enclosed bushy garden, easy foreshore walks around the bluff, varied birdlife, and oh -the peace and quiet! Thank you Terry, always the amenable host.

Really enjoyed staying at this beautiful cottage. It is self contained with kitchen, two toilets and three bedrooms. The view from living room area and backyard is the best, overlooking a peaceful view of Lower Murray River. Mornings are a great time to spend in the front yard with a coffee in front of well kept garden.

FANTASTIC, RELAXING GETAWAY
We spent an amazing four nights at Clayton Bay Cottage which is very homely, welcoming and comfortable. It is exceptionally well appointed and very clean and tidy. There was plenty of space for everyone and the slow combustion stove made for both a warm and cozy winter stay. The Edgars were the perfect hosts making communication a breeze. The dog-friendly enclosed garden was perfect and the views of Lake Alexandrina, from the back verandah, were most enjoyable, particularly at sunset with a glass of wine in hand. This definitely a property to which we will return. Thanks Terry & Robyn!

Beautiful & peaceful place with a welcoming atmosphere!! The bedrooms(love ❤ Adairs bedding personally)/bathrooms/lounge look like recently renovated, and modern look with tidy, clean, and flawlessly well equipped kitchen.
I loved the dishwasher, all the condiments, and cutleries!!
Love the Alexanderiana lake view from this quiet place and the firepit in the backyard at night with kids!

One of our very favorite places. Great accommodation, very comfortable at any time of year. Lovely quiet location, with great walks and close to some very good wineries. Have been coming here for many years and will continue to do so.

We had a wonderful stay all the comforts of home, even were able to take the four legged family. Great walks around the area and the wetlands. Close to Goolwa, Langhorne Creek and Starthalbyn. Would highly recommend this holiday retreat!
