It's always nice to stop in every now and again.

Weekends are busy, but just after lunch is the best time to get a seat... you just have to hope the cakes haven't sold out!

Great coffee, nice atmosphere, and excellent deserts. Lunch isn't bad and worth a try of you are peckish

Our family visit to The Grounds of Alexandria right before Christmas was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and an atmosphere that felt like stepping into a wonderland. The service was impeccable; staff members were not only efficient but incredibly friendly, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our visit.

But what truly took our breath away were the decorations. The Grounds had transformed into a festive paradise, with every corner adorned in the spirit of Christmas. It was like walking through a holiday dream, with stunning displays that captivated both the adults and kids in our family. The attention to detail was astounding, creating the perfect backdrop for our pre-Christmas outing.

Everything about our experience was amazing – the delicious food, the warm ambiance, and the joy of being together in such a beautiful setting. The Grounds of Alexandria has a special way of making every visit memorable, and this one was especially so. We left with full hearts (and bellies!) and memories that will last a lifetime. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Been here a few times, amazing location, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Different zones and areas to enjoy. Had breakfast in the Cafe, was exceptional. Had the breakfast tacos and the bircher museli, and a very smooth coffee. They currently have a Mexican theme, and it's executed very well. Plenty to entertain kids, a lot of seating available. You can bring dogs into the venue (cats too apparently!)

It is one of the best places I have been to in Sydney! The atmosphere, service and food is lovely! Love how it is pet friendly as well. I visited it with my hub, parents and fur babies (a husky and a cat). Evah who served us was exceptional. She was so kind and lovely! Definitely a 10/10 visit!!

The grounds are beautiful any ways, with so many well mantained plants all around. And every season they change the decoration to make tour experience even better! They recently changed the Christmas theme for "Fiesta", a celebration of South American Culture.

Great photo spot within Sydney area. Always beautiful decorations, lots of visitors. Love the coffee! Dog friendly is a bonus! Love to get back there sometime with my pooch🐩. For wedding reception here, it will look so elegant and vintage, feel like a princess in the enchanted forest👰👸!

Mexicoma! Always experience excellent food, service and atmosphere at the Grounds. At the Potting Shed, the cocktails, tacos, burrito bowl and dessert were like a party in your mouth, delectable and aesthetically presented. The laneway was gorgeous, so vibrant and fun and true Mexican feels. Highly recommend late afternoon bookings if you want to dine and see the latest laneway theme. We literally had the laneway to ourselves.

As a wedding photographer it's always a pleasure to work at The Grounds of Alexandria. I simply can't rave enough about this venue! What truly sets The Grounds apart is the meticulous attention to detail. Every corner of this amazing venue seems to have a story to tell. Blending industrial buildings with the greenery of their gardens and ever changing displays, there is always something new and exciting to photograph here.

The staff at The Grounds are not just professionals; they are passionate about creating the perfect experience for couples and their guests. Their commitment to excellence made my job as a photographer incredibly smooth, and their genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of joy to the celebration.

Some of the best coffee in Sydney! The tasting board for two was a very nice set of well made drinks; none of which had a hint of bitterness, most surprisingly the cold brew which was so smooth and sweet I wish I could take a few gallons with me back to the U.S.

The lamb pita was very good and so filling as well. To top it off the milk-chocolate passion fruit dessert was a very nice patisserie-style desert without too much heaviness.

Do yourself a favor; come with some friends, have some good food and some good coffee and enjoy the great environment they have set up for you!

I loved the place, very unique. Great decorations, we took very nice pictures. Food was unique and delicious and I loved cocktails as well.

Fantastic place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible ambiance and delightful location (The Garden Cafe, specifically). The food was very good and the coffee was fabulous. I shared the Large Brekkie and the Coffee Board for Two. The Large Brekkie was delicious and had lots of different bites and flavors. The Coffee Board was a lovely tasting experience that showcased the flavors of each coffee. The espresso was verrrry smooth. The shops around were not nearly as exciting as the cafe. We ordered the Chocolate and Passion fruit treat as an appetizer - I love dessert first! Beautiful and such a fun treat!

I went there yesterday. Everything is still surprising!
The service I need to say is really good. With double pram, it’s a bit hard to move around inside, but the staff came and helped me, really warmed my heart 🥺

Kathleen was our server back in March 2023, and she was very attentive to all our needs. The food was exceptional! If you have a small appetite, you could share a meal with another person 🫶🏼

First time in this place, and I loved the ambiance! Vitoria takes care of us and suggests very nice plates and drinks! We will come back :)

For brunch, we got Big Brekkie and Polenta Chips along with Cold Brew and Affogato. The price was fair and acceptable given the quantity and quality of the meals as well as the lovely view.

Service was great , very nice friendly staff.
Food was good but portions were limited so is a little expensive side. Premium is for the place and ambiance.

I love the ambiance its so relaxing. The price in this place is descent. Great place to take photos. You need to be here early since its hard to find a seat and takes a while to order. I will Definity comeback here again with my family.

It can get very busy on the weekend especially around lunch Time. They had closed one of the main door entrance which made it difficult walking around as people are going in and out of the one way direction exist, needs to be more organised! And the large jumping castle was outside with no shade for children!

I’ve been here so many times over the years and each visit is better than the last.

This place is like a wonderland. Each visit there’s a different theme and so much to explore.

Putting aside all the visual delights, the food and coffee served here is equally as good. The Grounds know what they’re doing when it comes to providing wholesome, tasty and substantial sized meals! The coffee is roasted on site and is some of the best you’ll get in Sydney.

I always bring visitors from interstate or overseas to this venue because it’s simply a great place to visit and never disappoints.

Great place to checkout and eat (a little crowded though, however that's expected). The food was nice, however it did come out more than a little staggered, I.e. not together, but our waiter more than made up for that issue, we appreciated Chloe's service. It's also a fun place to take the kids
