My review supports the reviews here. I have been trying to be connected to the Elizabeth St Sydney store for 40 minutes, sitting on hold. Operators keep trying to put me through and no one answers.

Then I called head office reception and spoke to Elizabeth who was just so wonderful and helped me get through the actual department and I did straight away. So I will increased my rating from a 1 to a 3 because of Elizabeth at Melbourne HQ reception David Jones Country Road

Where to start!! Beyond appalling - spent 26mins trying to get help!! Looked up Trenery calls go to David Jones. Called 4 times this morning at 11am CS robot says I’m calling outside hours, try another ph # option from now the David Jones website that # is not connected, then speak to person she puts me thru to wrong store - then the CS person was unintelligible nor was he listening, website invites customer feedback do I register but its not working.
And retailers wonder why online buying is preferential - if DJs & its huge associates cant get it right it’s little wonder

I am deeply frustrated with David Jones - the worst customer experience ever. This company has consistently failed to deliver on their promises and puts zero effort into improving it. Terrible!

My recent encounter involved ordering a bag, receiving a confirmation, and eagerly awaiting its arrival, only to have my order abruptly canceled without any explanation. To make matters worse, this isn't the first time this has happened. It's the third time within the past six months. Such repeated incompetence is truly unexplainable. Soooo bad and sooo frustrating.

David Jones has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability and customer care. Their repeated failures to deliver products in stock and their dismissive attitude towards resolving the issue have left me thoroughly disappointed. I cannot recommend this company to anyone seeking a reliable and satisfactory shopping experience.

Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

That could not have gone much worse, terrible service

I was going to let it go, but I was asked for a review of my recent experience from DJ's and I sent it, and I then received a return email that it didn't pass, it was moderated. No option to respond, no contact from customer service, no option to modify the review. So, there's a problem, any reviews you see on the DJ's site are filtered.

So, my experience:
Ordered an item online and after 2 weeks of seeing it in 'We've got it' status at the post office, I called and was told they would cancel it, something went wrong, and I should make a new order.
I then placed another order and after a day that was cancelled without explanation, and was notified I would receive a refund. So for 3 days after, I was still waiting for a refund for 2 items of about $1500.
I went into a store that had stock listed, which was just the display model, and was told he could see 3 items in stock for online, couldn't explain it.
Bought from Amazon instead, they are cheaper, reliable and delivered in 2 days, won’t be using DJ’s again.

Another note, I see the item is still advertised as available, and online orders can still be made.

Lift your game there DJ's, its a tough market, and you've lost another customer.

Had such poor and terrible service, I bought the same product online twice and wanted to send a birthday gift to a friend, but I received an email saying that it was out of stock. I kept saying that it was out of stock. Then I said that I would refund it within 3-5 days. In the end, I waited almost a month for the refund both times. When I called and asked, they pushed each other's responsibilities. I was so disappointed that I won't buy anything from it again.

Had such a sad and disappointing online shopping experience. Ordered way in advance for my sisters birthday, paid for gift wrapping and greeting card, expected the usual beautiful white David jones box with black ribbon and was looking forward to it ! What I received was everything thrown in a carton, “remove before sale plastic” still attached on the blush, looked as if I bought it from a discount pharmacy. Called to complain, asking if I can pick the shipping, instead they offered a $25 voucher. How would that help when stores are shut ? Now I’m left with disappointment and stress as I definitely can’t gift this embarrassment to her tomorrow.

Terrible customer service. They advertise goods will deliver 3 to 5 business days. but now more than 12 days and no response at all. I’m on hold more than 60 minutes 3 times. (even the Melbourne CBD). None of them take responsibility and try to resolve the issues. Worst customer experience & a huge waste of time! never 👎 buying anything from David Jones ☺

The worst Shopping experience I have ever had.
The Online manager Rebecca refused to take my call.
DONT expect any service or resolution as you wont get any!
Absolutely useless manager. In all my years of management I have never been confronted by such an incompetent person in my entire working history. David Jones senior management take a good look at your online management staff they may have a part to play in your profit margins and downturn of sales! Your reviews for your online part of the business are not to great and now you have another one to add to the list of complaints!
I have been a loyal DJ's customer for 35 years and only shop at DJ's I
Will NEVER shop with David Jones Online again.
My suggestion to Senior management read your reviews and get that finger back on the pulse and you may just turn your business around.
