I pick up my car after 7:00pm and they ask me $125 to assist me open up the gate. Luckily they did not ask me to pay for the parking ticket. Considering my parking fee is already around $70 I am okey to take that as a lesson. Booking online for the secure website is much more cheaper. Or simply ask for a Uber.

this is the most f up carpark ive parked at so far.

details of my booking - weekend parking enter at 1pm, leave at 6pm. booking cost me $10 in total which is pretty cheap!

the entrance is not on 255 elizabeth st. the email i got from secure parking did not indicate there was an alternative entrance, which is at 242 castlereagh st. i only found out when I called the after hours number. the carpark itself has multiple basement levels which was blocked off at b5 so you couldnt go any further even though there were spots available (i had to use the lift at b6)!
when i arrived the carpark was full and there were people even double parked. there was a sign saying keys can be left with an attendant, but the carpark isnot staffed on weekends and that sign only applies on weekdays. i only found out as i rang the after hours hotline again, they were able to direct me to the nearest carpark or offer me a refund which i have to go online and submit myself. (fail whale here)

i was lucky as someone was leaving, i got parking..but it took me over 30 minutes to find this carpark.. and driving in the city is already bad enough.

the customer service was at least nice and helpful..hence the two stars! in conclusion, i wouldnt park here again.. i would rather pay extra and have some peace pf mind. the concept of you get what you pay for is utter BS in this situation.

As a nearby resident, I don’t know when they changed pay time, before: Saturday after 6pm it free parking,. Now, we need pay before 10:00 pm every day!
I don’t know when they change the rule .Nobody update information I parked there many times, before. But This time I got a bill for Jan 20 (Saturday) parking. They said the offence time is 7:53pm
Burwood council is so hungry?!!!

If I could give no stars I would! I’m not from Sydney and needed somewhere to park my car just while I attended a place nearby. Saw this on google and how close it was to where I was going to be and thought “$28? That’s great!”.
When I got to the car park the attendant was rude, then he demanded I hand over my car key because the car parks they provide are double park car parks so you’re either blocking another car in or your car is the one blocked in, when I refused because I’m not comfortable just handing over my keys he was rude and muttered in a foreign language to himself which was extremely disrespectful and then snapped at me to park in another spot but made certain to inform me of the inconvenience to him.
I had to come back early to pick up my car because my business had concluded earlier than expected and I had to pay another $35 on top of the $28 I had already paid! I was parked for 2 hours and it cost a total of $63!!!! Talk about a complete rip off! Barely any signage anywhere and they had some poor guy standing in a large bird suit in extreme heat to attract people to come and park.
Do better!

This is a Money grab!

There is NO PROPER SIGN or warning at the entrance, on the ticket and also inside the parking to mention the working hours!!! Even there is no one available to guide you!

Only a very small invisible sign on the intercom which is on the left side of the entrance gate! that says there is a $125 charge for opening the gate after work hours!!! We only found it after half an hour trying to find a way to go inside!

I am pretty sure they are hiding their working hours by purpose to trap people!!!

When I came here to share my review, I discovered it is for quite some time they have been doing this scam.

Unbelievable! IT IS AN OBVOUS SCAM! SHAME ON THEM!

Sadly there is no minus stars.
I went for dinner next to 242 Castlereagh street at 6:00 pm and found this secure parking open. I saw a sign saying "$21 flat rate for weekends". That was perfect! When I came out of the restaurant around 8:00, I found the car park closed and no way to get in to get my car. I called the security of the building and a man spoke to me telling me that he has no access to the car park and I have to call the after hours phone number next to the entry, which I then did. They requested that I pay $125 " to send a technician " to open the gate of the carpark. I was put on hold several times. There is NO SIGN in or outside the carpark indicating the carpark closes at 7pm and that you will need to pay a $125 call out fee.
After long wait and multiple arguments, the lady (on the phone) DID NOT SEND A TECHNICIAN to open the gate, she instead opened the gate remotely. So she insisted that I needed to pay a call out fee when she could just do it remotly the entire time! In fact, the same security man who spoke to me earlier is one that opened the gate and also insisted i pay a "call out fee" despite him being on the premises the entire time! I was so furious!!!!!! Horrible , deceiving and dishonest place.
I am very angry about this.

Car park has poor signage re closure at 7pm. Our car was locked in and the fee to retrieve is $125

Paid $125 to be able to take our car back!! There is NO SIGN saying when the parking closes on Saturdays and Sundays! And there was no sign saying that we would have to pay $125 fine if we wanted our car back at 9pm! WHAT A SCAM! never will be using secure parking again and I’ll tell everyone about this in the future so they’ll stay away too!

There should be a proper warning for people who enter the parking space close to your closing time! There should AT THE MINIMUM be a big sign right next to the pricing sign when you’re entering the parking.

Unbelievable!

DO NOT PARK HERE. As mentioned by others, this is a money grab! Anything after 7pm is "after hours" and comes with a $125 fee to get your car out, absolutely outrageous

There’s a lot of issue on the exit machine, we was waiting for 15mins to get out today. We do paid the ticket at pay station, but when we arrive to the exit and insert the ticket it didn’t open the gate but ask me to pay another $19. Therefore we need to call up and they need to check the record of your payment that tooks few minutes. And I think it happen to the car before as we a lineup at a exit for at least 10min to wait!! Ridiculous car park.

This car park is a scam. DO NOT PARK HERE. We parked our car at 6.45pm on Saturday night. When we went back at 8.30pm the car park was locked and it took over 1 hour and $125 on top of the regular parking ticket to get our car back. There are no clear signs informing you the parking closes at 7pm. So once you find out you’ve been locked out you need to call their service to come and let you in, for the $125 fee! A true scam. Stay away. (In reply to the response below: the night we were locked in, another 2 customers were as well, so yes, it would appear that your signage is insufficient!!)

DO NOT PARK HERE!! this carpark is a scam. It closes at 7pm on a weeknight and will fleece you $125 to get your car out. The signage is very obscure and easily missed. A large group of more than 10 people were all trapped on a Saturday night trying to get there cars. Call centre staff extremely unhelpful. Attendant who finally came was extremely rude. Never again.

On the 24/5 at 8:26 according to my ticket i entered the carpark at which i came back and pressed on the intercom for the building to allow me to re enter the carpark to pick my car.
They immeidately denied entry and told me to call Secure parking which than led to another 30 minute delay after the operator and the building security had fought for about a solid 15 minutes thus delaying me re entry even longer.
Than they charged a ridiculous call out fee of 125 dollars, when i clesrly entered the carpark because the gates were open.
The operators had constantly given me attitude and ridiculous amounts of waiting and holding times and forfeited any idea of opening the door for me.
DO NOT USE SECURE PARKING THEYRE A RIP OFF.
