Alisha is a fantastic voice teacher! I came back to singing lessons as someone trained classically as a child and during university. Alisha was recommended to me as a fantastic contemporary singer / teacher and I was not at all disappointed. Alisha taught me so much about my voice - and even as someone who has a Bachelor's degree in classical singing, I left each lesson learning so much more about my voice and body. Alisha's style as a teacher is patient and encouraging. She is holistic in her approach and knows vocal anatomy back to front.

I would recommend her highly to all singers - aspiring and professional! For those also on the fence about virtual singing lessons - I can share that I had a very positive experience learning online via zoom. I did not at all feel at a disadvantage. Thanks again Alisha!

I started singing lessons with Alisha in 2019 to get me through VCE music, and to say she helped me would be an understatement. Alisha's selection of songs and the effort she put into my exercises for my assessments were incredible, and I honestly couldn't have gotten through the years without her. I am so grateful for my lessons with Alisha as she has helped strengthen my voice, and has taught me to be more confident with a range of styles I never could have imagined myself singing! Lessons are always enjoyable, as Alisha has such a friendly presence.

I began my journey at the House of Voice just over a year ago and I must say I have definitely seen such a drastic change in my voice. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Alisha who has really helped me develop my confidence and her pure and patient approach has really helped me reach my goals so far. Each week I am always eager to learn new things and Alisha's enthusiasm and positivity, makes attending lessons an absolute joy and pleasure. My lessons have been purely online but it doesn't interfere with the teaching quality and I definitely don't think twice about being disadvantaged. This is an amazing school for all and I highly recommend. You won't regret it!

I have been training with Alisha for going on three years now, and she has been one of the best teachers I have ever had. I have a big singing voice and without Alisha's training I would have been tearing apart my vocal chords. With House of Voice, I can definitely hear and feel the improvements I have made and she has taught me how to control my volume and has helped to adapt my vocal range; from soul to musical theatre. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, and probably will ever make, as Alisha brings the best positive attitude to her teaching, which has really helped over the past couple of years. There is no one else I would rather have teach me in a weekly basis.

My daughter has been attending singing lessons with Alisha for approximately 2 years. We have been extremely impressed with the knowledge and the technical skills that Alisha has taught her in this time. Every single lesson has been worth it.
Alisha displays great wisdom and understanding in her approach to students of all ages wanting to excel in this tricky field. But I think it is her ability to impart her knowledge, while making her students feel inspired, energised and then transcended that makes her such a gifted teacher.

One of my life's most important and perfect decisions i made is to get trained at House of Voice. Its only been an year but Alisha improved my singing technique and range to an unimaginable level from where i was in the beginning. She teaches new concepts in every lesson about vocal science and ways to improve range. So, i confidently anticipate for fun-filled session and always exceeded the expected excitement level. Alisha, apart from being a great teacher also guides in making singing career which for me is a dream. She organizes concerts at the end of each semester which are giving me experience and opportunities to test myself. I feel blessed to be one of her students.

Before I began singing lessons at The House of Voice I didn't completely believe in my abilities as a singer and did not have the confidence to sing in front of others. After just a term of lessons there was immense improvement in not only my singing but my self-efficacy as well.
Due to Alisha's coaching I was able to get a lead role in my school musical and have had the wonderful opportunity to perform at student concerts. I feel comfortable singing songs and performing material that felt only like a dream before I started lessons.
Lessons at HOV not only provide impeccable training but they also help gain a greater understanding of music theory and the physical mechanics behind singing.
Alisha has helped bring out my confidence and provided such a friendly and caring environment for students to do what they truly love. She believes in me when I don't believe in myself. Her patience and kindness throughout students journeys is what makes her such an incredible mentor whom I look forward to learning from every week. She is a teacher who makes time for students and always puts them first. She always understands exactly what I'm thinking when I doubt myself or hold back from an opportunity and builds up my courage. I couldn't thank her enough for everything.

I have been singing with Alisha for 3 years and I'm always blessed to be her student! She is an extraordinary teacher and mentor. People around me are getting impressed by how much my voice has changed these years. Alisha shows a great passion and enthusiasm for her students. Her singing class is very compact and step-by-step. she encourages to let go of the mind and focus on how the body feels when you are singing. She introduces lots of visualisation skills, which makes the class so much fun! I learn a lot of skills such as breathing, supporting muscles, and always having your soft palate raised. She also organized concerts every semester and songwriting class for the one who wants to be a singer-songwriter. Alisha is a good mentor who always supports you, and gives you constructive advice. I'm looking forward to seeing her every week.

I originally came to the House of Voice in 2015 to strengthen my breath work, body connection, and improve my singing ability. It was a relief to have a teacher as connected and educated as Alisha guide me through learning these skills in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Alisha uses her impressive knowledge of anatomy and theory combined with an intuitive talent to assist me to create sounds I never thought possible. I moved to Singapore for work in 2018 and have continued this work via online lessons as I value this practice immensely. I would recommend House of Voice to anyone seeking to uplift their musicality in an environment of truely inspiring and wonderful teachers.

I've seen quite a number of different vocal and singing teachers and none compare to Alisha. Her approach to singing is holistic. She showed me how to embrace my own unique sound and used techniques that I've never seen anyone teach before - and wow - do they work!! Not only did my voice and breathing improve, but I fell in love with singing again thanks to Alisha's approach. Plus, she's so much fun and her classes are a joy to attend. If you are looking for a standout singing teacher - you've found one right here!

I have taken both songwriting lessons and singing lessons at The House of Voice and both are EXTRAORDINARY!!

Phoebe carries a wealth of experience as an established artist, and really helped me understand the craft of songwriting! Her lessons are catered for your individual growth and are filled with fun exercises that unleash your creativity, insightful advice and explores different approaches to songwriting. Phoebe is so genuinely kind and creates such a comfortable environment to develop as a songwriter/artist!

Alisha has grown my voice in a way that I never thought possible! Her lessons are technical and holistic, delivered with so much care and passion. She has nurtured my growth to be able to perform in front of an audience! Vocal lessons with Alisha is like going to the gym for your voice. You’ll get stronger, gain more control, become more confident and more connected as a person.

The House of Voice is a one stop shop for artist development! Thank you so much!! 🙌💖🎶

Alisha's extraordinarily deep and extensive knowledge of the voice and mechanics is unlike any other singing teacher I've encountered in my life. I've experienced the self-acclaimed amateur 'teachers,' to seasoned classical voice teachers and have seen speech pathologists to overcome vocal issues. For the first time in the 20+ years that I've been pursuing my singing voice, I feel like Alisha actually knows what's going on intuitively, mentally and physically and is able to address the root of my vocal issues where in the past, teachers have either given up or have kept me in lessons as they do the guesswork.

I have been with Alisha for 7 years and she has helped me develop my voice better then I ever could have imagined. With her help I was able to get multiple distinctions on my AMEB exams and work through the challenges of VCE and Vet music. While being with the house of voice I also developed my songwriting skills and was able to create multiple self written songs with the song writing teachers as HOV.

I decided to get singing lessons at The House Of Voice because my wife was already going there and I liked the improvements I was hearing in her singing voice. What I got was not only vocal coaching but also a great mentor. I never have considered myself to be either very creative or confident but Alisha helped me to unlock a strong desire for creative self-expression which led to a huge improvement in my ability to convey my true self whether it be through singing or some other creative pursuit.

Alisha's golden rule is unconditional self-acceptance and I can tell you as a former sceptic that there really is no downside to being kind to yourself. As a degree qualified singing teacher, she is also very knowledgeable regarding the mechanics and anatomy of the human voice.

If you are not confident in singing, especially in public, if you don't think you can sing, or if you don't know how to develop your creativity, I can highly recommend Alisha as a coach.

Alisha from House of Voice has been an excellent voice teacher. I had weekly lessons with her for two years and she has given me many tools to use to improve my singing voice exponentially. I went from a very breathy sound in my upper register to achieving a high distinction in my AMEB grade 4 singing for leisure exam, much to my surprise! More importantly she has helped me build confidence in using my singing voice.

I have worked with Alisha over the past 10 years as both a teenager and an adult. She has coached me through VCE Music, AMEB tests, countless performances/musicals and most recently a number of live gigs. Alisha has helped me grow not only as a singer, but as an individual and an artist.
The House of Voice provides so more than just singing and instrumental lessons, they develop you as an artist no matter your age. I could not recommend Alisha and her team more highly.

Alisha is the best singing teacher I have ever had. She supports me in reaching personal singing goals and understand where I need to be pushed as a singer and performer. Alisha understands the voice so technically and is able to explain this through practical vocal excersises. I love my weekly singing lesson at House of Voice- I have found my creative home! xx

Our 11 year old daughter has had Alisha as her vocal coach for 3 years. The improvements we have seen in our child’s voice, stage presence and overall confidence is amazing.

Alisha’s ability to explain complex techniques to ensure safe singing and her ability to coach her through the up’s and down’s of performance has instilled the grit and resilience required for performing on stage.

With Alisha’s guidance our daughter has regularly performed in front of audiences including a performance in front of an audience of 2000 for school, achieved great AMEB results, and developed an overall stage presence which, without a doubt, contributed to her being selected as her Vice School Captain.

Alisha has been upfront with us about what we need to do to support our daughter in her singing goals whilst encouraging her to manage and be accountable for her own workload. Alisha has pushed our daughter outside her comfort zone and facilitated performances with older performers which she enjoyed immensely.

Our child heads into her teen years with a strong sense of identity and a passionate spark, nurtured not only by an exceptional vocal coach, but by a team of other talented singers who have embraced our child and encouraged her along the way.

Alisha has been an incredible vocal teacher, mentor and friend for the past five years. Her radiating enthusiasm and positivity is contagious, which makes coming to lessons an absolute pleasure and an exciting part of the week. Alisha’s teaching methods are unique, innovative and exciting. She is very in tune with her students, and forms beautiful relationships with every single one of them. Alisha’s teaching methods engage in focusing on the use of body instead of the mind. She encourages us to lose our inhibition when we sing because sometimes conscious thought can dominate the way we sing and can inhibit natural ability. Singing has become a true passion of mine; I am enthralled by its ability to immerse me into states of catharsis. I have had previous singing teachers in the past, Alisha has been the only teacher who has inspired me to perceive singing as a means of catharsis which I believe is truly special.

Alisha,s ability to coach is both enjoyable, and extremely useful.
Alisha has a wonderful ability to explain complex breathing techniques, along with different muscle use, in an easy to understand way. It didn't take long for me to see a massive improvement in my abilities as a singer.
Alisha is willing to work with, and listen to her students, to help get them where they want to go.
I have been very impressed with Alisha,s ability as a vocal coach.
