Bass Workshop

Took my 72 Precision here because of a nagging fret buzz on the g string. I’d never been here before, though love looking at the second hand basses online. The atmosphere, the expertise, the passion, the love of basses. My precision is now as good as it’s ever been. Smashing!

Such good service. My guitar needed adjustment due to string gauge change. Dropped in and they did it on the spot with great care and attention. Not expensive at all, very happy with the fee. Top craftsman.

If I could give more then 5stars I would. The owner was very knowledgeable and put my child at ease. They even let them play their new bass out in the back room.

Love this place. Full of passionate people who are very knowledgeable about bass. I went there because I was recommended by a friend since I did some pretty serious damage to my bass, and in two weeks they fixed it really well. The kind of damage my bass received you wouldn't normally see on an instrument and they improvised a fix very well. The owner also gave me a lot of good advice about becoming a better bass player and seemed like he genuinely wants to give back to the community, this was further proven when he started to recommend products they don't currently stock showing its for the passion. Overall I would highly recommend going there for all your bass needs they are nice people and do a good job!

The team at Bass workshop are f'ing brilliant, I entrust them with all my bass requirements (and my sons 6 string guitar stuff too). MORE BASS!

About a year ago I decided to stop using bass plugins, and buy a bass guitar. You can not beat the real thing..!!

Only problem.... Never played a bass guitar before......

All kudos to Drew for offering awesome help and advice, allowing me the time to try out a bunch different basses before I chose a Warwick Infinity.

Now I am the proud owner of two Warwicks and writing baselines in 10/4. Look forward to the next one..!!!

As you enter Hughesdale you start to feel a rumbling within. Like the best part of any band pushing upwards. As you get closer to Bass Workshop, your head starts to bop and your hips start to thrust in a primal rhythm that can't be resisted. It's because of the amount of bottom end weaponry amassed in one place, it causes a shift in the tone and vibe of the area. It's draws you in, like a sexy voice beckoning, like a black hole, like a whirlpool. But way cooler. Because it's Bass Guitars. Upon entering this holy place of bottom end, you are greeted by an 'elder' of the bass community, whose knowledge has been grown by an unnatural love of the 4 strings. Bass guitar is the best. This is the best place for bass guitar.

You couldn't ask for a better destination for lovers of bottom end instruments. Drew and Co. know their stuff, offer great customer service and have built a great shop.

Bass Workshop provides the ultimate experience for bass players. Products, price, advice and just a very welcoming shop. Drew and his team have serviced 12 of my basses and my ancient valve amp, and restored them to their very best, sold me great speakers, steered me towards some great string choices and, most importantly, been generous with his time and advice. Can’t wait to get back there. 🎯

I was so happy to find this little hidden gem for all things bass guitar. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, and I know that my son is going to be so happy at Christmas with his new bass and amp. Thanks Bass Workshop. I'll be back when it's time for an upgrade.

Nice guy and professional

I can't recommend Bass Workshop enough. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Drew and Heejoo through a number of different transactions over the past 2 years. Everything from bass literature to top shelf amplifiers and basses. If you want a shop that treats you like a trusted friend, impeccable bass knowledge and just generally an awesome attitude to life and music, then this is the place for you. Plus they have shop cats! Need I say more. Stop going to the hardware store for milk.

Had my old Vantage VS600B 4 string that i recently bought in for a setup and string change. Rang up at 10am and it was in by 10.30. Drew was extremely helpful and had some great advice. Got the bass back and it felt like it was brand new. Can't say a bad word about the service. Highly recommended.

Bought a Warwick from here. Bass was well packaged and arrived super quick after purchase. Bass was in fantastic condition and plays fantastically. They even included a hand written note which was a nice touch :) Very happy customer! I know where to come when i get my 5 string.
