Gundagai Motel

Excellent - great rooms for a family of five. Central location. Short walking distance to amazing kids park, great quality coffee and shops. Awesome town and friendly locals. Will definitely be back on our next road trip. Shout out to Dave, hotel manager who was friendly and helpful as our car broke down and needed help.

We had to make a pitstop in Gundagai due to a pierced tyre. Managed to get a late booking. We were pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable, clean family room with five beds. Aircon, directly opposite the RSL which had a great Chinese restaurant. Local pool was just behind too which we were able to use in summer. We spent New Years here and it was brilliant. Dave, the manager, was very accommodating. Lovely town and would recommend if you're passing through.

Stayed here recently x2 adults for an overnight stop on the way home from Qld. Great location in the Main Street walking distance from food etc and just off the freeway. Rooms tidy, warmed with a split system, coffee tea etc provided and nice fluffy towels. Will definitely stay here again when we do the same trip

Great stop here with kids in a family room. Simple and no frills, but everything was lovely and clean, bright and comfy. Everything we were looking for, and conveniently located in town. Would definitely come again!

What a find! Would definitely stay again! Had a family room and it was perfect for us. Most comfortable beds and pillows we've had I for 3 weeks! Great accommodating service, and reasonably priced. Quiet but still close to the freeway.

This is my go to stop over when travelling between Melbourne and Newcastle. The service has always been amazing despite arriving late and leaving early. They always go the extra mile like putting the AC on in advance - the rooms are large and you’re not cramped at all.

Great motel, massive parking, walking distance to great food. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay for an overnight travel stop, very clean rooms, quite comfortable, quiet and cosy warm on a cold night. Basic, but that's all we wanted. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again.

Great spot to stay on the way to/from Sydney/Melbourne.
Owners are super helpful. Easy check in and recommended places for dinner.
We requested a cot which they setup and provided lovely (and cute!) bedding for.
Rooms are warm, clean and up to date.

Awesome had a good time at the 75th Panhead Anniversary. The motel met all our needs.

Second stay here on this road trip. Managers were very kind and helpful. Quite busy both this time and last visit (both a Sunday nights). Walking distance to the supermarket. No traffic noise. Heating and cooling in each room.

Excellent pit stop when driving between Syd and Melbourne. Our family stayed there for the night. Good location and easy to find. Clean and functional facilities, owners are friendly and welcoming. Playground, RSL and Woolies across the road. Highly recommend, thanks for having us, see you again soon!

Great stop over between Melbourne and Sydney. Comfortable, clean rooms, wonderful staff - easy check in and recommendation for local restaurant across the road. Walking distance to Woolworths and the park for the kids.

Perfect motel for a stopover to Melbourne. Lovely owner and very responsive. The place is clean and newer compare to other motel. It is situated right next to the road so if you’re a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs. I’ll definitely be staying here whenever I drive to Melbourne
